Zafè’m Caribbean restaurant have the best rice I’ve had in Vero Beach more meat then you’ll need, crispy plantains.
This was my second time visiting this establishment. The guy that takes the order and serves the food. I don’t know if it’s me but has a cold vibe

I ordered the food to go, but decided to sit in halfway through my food, I noticed some fruit flies.
Two of which land in the food, I called the server. He came over and I pointed out that there are fruit flies or whatever they were and something should be done about it. He said, okay, left nevercameback. After 3-5 minutes, I leave and throw the food out as I exit.

This place is phenomenal, so far I’ve tried the oxtail, chicken, and pork. All of it has been FANTASTIC. I’ve had all of the types of rice and I think the black rice is my favorite, the rice portions are huge! There is so much flavor packed in every bite of their food you get here. The oxtail was for sure my favorite, I’m used to Jamaican oxtail, and I this is my new favorite. The pork was incredible too, juicy, but also crispy, with just enough fat to melt in your mouth, and packed with tons of flavor. The chicken and the pork came with a sauce on the side that compliments all of it very well. Don’t sleep on the pikliz either! Personally I find it best to take a plaintain, stack the meat, a bit of rice, the pikliz, and dump some of the sauce over the top and eat it all together. INCREDIBLE. The only thing I will warn of is it takes quite a while for the food to be prepared, but it is so worth it. Plan accordingly and call ahead!

This restaurant was very comfortable and laid back. The ladies who were working today were both very helpful and kind. My husband and I loved our meals. This was our first time trying this restaurant and trying Haitian food in general. I had the fried goat and my husband had the whole snapper. The flavors were amazing and the portions were big for the price. This restaurant is an hour and a half away f om where we live, but I can see us traveling to eat here again!

I don’t know what happened today but I recommended this place when my family came to visit today. They went there and waited nearly 20 min and no one came to take their order. Then when other customers came in, they got serviced immediately??? What the hell? My family left and the workers there didn’t even apologize to them. The food is great but I will NEVER buy from you or recommend your place to anyone ever again.

Everything was SO good! I wished we were even hungrier when we arrived. We brought our three small children who are picky eaters although they were very hungry after a day at the beach. We figured they could eat rice if they didn’t like anything else. My husband, also hungry, ordered nearly the whole dinner menu. Each item included salad, rice and plantains. The salad was actually pretty good, fresh and a verity of veggies, although they only had packaged dressings, no oil and vinegar. It was better than average for an included side salad and quite big. We did not need the extra side of plantains we ordered but they made a great hotel snack for later! I have celiacs disease and we were assured that everything was gluten free. So far, so good. None of the fried meats are breaded. It was all so, so good. Even my picky kids tried a little bit of everything. The fried chicken was their favorite. The oxtail was my husband’s and my favorite. The pork and turkey were also very good. We knew we were in the right place when most of the other patrons seemed to be regulars who ordered food at the counter. We sat in a booth and the service was quick and friendly. Five stars! GREAT food, atmosphere good enough, great price to feed a hungry family, convenient parking. We will definitely be back!

Coming from a person that grew up eating Haitian food every day With my cultural family. I would say this food is not 100% authentic. The lady tried her best to cook the food good but it just doesn’t taste right! You’re better off going to Fort Pierce or Port St. Lucie to get some real authentic Haitian food! Not only that the price is terrible and I think they only up the price because it’s the only Haitian restaurant in Vero Beach not because the way it taste ! The customer service is terrible. The older lady I guess who runs the restaurant has a attitude problem and that’s no good for Business. If you don’t believe me, look at the lowest reviews and also go order some food yourself. The rice taste so different!!!!! Please just check it out for yourself and then you can hurt my Post if you believe me . Again, I’m a big fan of hasting food. I love Haitian food. I can eat it every day however, this is not real authentic Haitian food don’t waste your time or money.
