Best Thai place in town.
I asked for hot and it blew my mind. Perfect blend of hotness and flavors.
MoMo was amazing. I had to order extra to go for home.
Definitely recommend it.

Thai food is our favorite so we’re pretty decent judges. This place was just okay. Food wasn’t anything special. Fresh spring rolls were good size but the lettuce inside both was bitter and didn’t taste fresh. Veggie egg rolls were also a good size and tasted decent but not exceptional. We also ordered pineapple fried rice, pad prik king, and green curry. Everything was pretty bland with mediocre flavor. The prices are comparable to a sit-down restaurant which doesn’t seem to make sense since the food here comes in disposable containers, you eat with plastic cutlery, and you’re not being served. The best part of the whole visit was the fact that the counter worker brought our food to us.

Zaep Zaep Thai is a fantastic addition to the Roanoke Food Hall! We tried the drunken noodles with chicken, the beef Pad Thai, and the Thai Garlic chicken wings and all dishes were flavorful, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. The drunken noodles had the perfect balance of spice and savory flavors, with tender chicken and fresh veggies, while the Pad Thai was rich, slightly tangy, and packed with beef, peanuts, and fresh herbs. The Thai garlic wings were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. The crispy spring rolls on the side were a great touch!
The two gentlemen working there were incredibly welcoming and made the experience even better. Their friendly service and enthusiasm for the food made us feel right at home.
If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Thai food in the area, Zaep Zaep Thai is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Discovered the best Thai place in the Roanoke area! It’s just inside the food hall that’s on Oak St in downtown Roanoke and I was blown away by how fresh and tasty this place was. My wife and I ordered some spring rolls that had an incredible peanut dipping sauce to start out with. To wash it down I got their green tea drink that was so flavorful with some added milk or something that made it a little creamy. Our main dishes were the drunken noodles and the yellow curry. I eat a lot of Thai food and most places I’m begging for a little more sauce on my noodles but not here. The drunken noodles had plenty of sauce and such good flavor without being salty like other places. The vegetables and chicken tasted so fresh which is the reason it takes a little longer to get your food. They don’t just heat it and serves, they actually cook it all fresh to order. My wife really liked the yellow curry that had chicken and potatoes along with a generous portion of white rice. The portions are really generous here so she even had plenty to take home which I got to enjoy for dinner…score! The guys working were so friendly and patient as we asked a bunch of questions. They are so passionate about their recipes and freshness of their food so we are hooked on this place and will be back a bunch!

ZaepZaep Thai and Momo is a hidden gem in Roanoke for anyone who loves dumplings with different personality. I had such a delicious experience here! After visiting 3–4 times, I can confidently say this place has been consistently amazing. I tried a variety of momos, and each one was absolutely flavorful and satisfying.
The Chicken Chilli Momo had the perfect spicy kick and was packed with juicy filling. The Steamed Momos were soft, fresh, and comforting — simple yet incredibly tasty. The Jhol Momo was the highlight for me, served in a rich, aromatic broth that made every bite warm and soulful. And the Fried Momos were crispy on the outside with a flavorful, juicy center — just perfect!
I also tried the Thai Tea with Boba, and it was amazing — creamy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, with chewy boba that made it a great pairing with the meal.
Great taste, good portions, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit spot in Roanoke for anyone who loves Thai & Nepali food with bold flavors. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!

When I moved to Keller, I was willing to accept that good nearby Thai food would be hard to come by. I was pleasantly surprised to find this Zaep Zaep Thai. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, egg roll and Thai tea. The drunken noodle was delicious with fresh vegetables that weren’t over cooked. The egg roll was crispy and paired amazingly with the sweet dipping sauce. And the Thai tea was great as well, not too sweet and very refreshing!
The owner is super friendly, service was great and inviting.

I discovered this restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered the red curry without meat and a Thai green tea. The Thai green tea was spot on—just like the ones I had in Thailand. The red curry, at spice level 4, delivered an authentic Asian-level heat. Since I requested no meat, the owner generously added extra broccoli to my curry, which was a nice touch. The flavors were great, the portion size was generous for the price, and the jasmine rice was perfectly cooked with long grains.
As a bonus, the owner also gave me an egg roll with sweet dipping sauce. It was so flavorful that it didn’t even need the sauce. The customer service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is located inside a food hall—just to the left when you walk in—but it took me a moment to find it.
Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more from the menu soon!

What a great little surprise! Stopped into Zaep Zaep Thai after getting a card on my door. Didn’t even know it was there. It’s at the front of the food hall at 216 Oak St in Roanoke. Yay, the owner, was super welcoming and friendly. I got the red curry which was delicious with a lot of fresh crispy vegetables and a great portion of chicken. Everything tasted super fresh and he cooks all the dishes without MSG. Since I was a first time customer he let me sample the egg rolls, which I have to say are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I would go back just for those! It’s not a fancy place by any stretch. As I said it’s in a food hall, but there’s plenty of places to sit inside or outside. Yay is from Laos and will be adding Spicy Lao sausage to the menu, which I can’t wait for. I’ll definitely be going back to try some different dishes very soon and recommend you check them out too!
