I was there for the first time last Friday evening for dinner before our movie at the capitol. I love the place, the service was very good, Owen was our server and the food was great. Great. Had a couple of glasses of great wine, my pizza I ordered was so good and I love the size. Size it’s perfect for an individual. I definitely want to come back there with other friends or by ourselves but definitely love the place.

This place was amazing!!! We went there for gluten free pizza and it had good reviews. The menu isn’t as big as a lot of places so I wasn’t sure. But you know how people say “ do one thing and do it well”, well I have to tell you.. it was amazing!!! We live in Chicago and this was probably the best gluten free pizza I have ever had!! We will absolutely be going back here!!!

After a previous great visit in May; I had the pleasure of coming to Za two nights on the trot on a trip this week and what a treat! Fabulous service from Owyn, Hannah and George, I felt completely welcomed and comfortable as a solo dinner. Za has a wonderfully inviting and cosy atmosphere and was lovely and buzzy! The spiced apple sangria was a must have; so fresh and seasonal and the ham and pineapple pizza and chocolate brownie (the toasted nuts are a fabulous addition!) were delicious. I can’t wait to return to such a warm welcome and try more of the menu. I thoroughly recommend Za for delicious food, equally wonderful service and that sangria!! Thank you all!

Really fantastic staff and amazing pizza! I’ve been ordering from here by Uber for years and realized I haven’t left a review. The staff went above and beyond when a driver recently stole my order, and they remade my pizza despite the late time. That pizza was SO good and it really made my night after a brutal day. I also have a lot of food allergies and I’ve never had an issue ordering from here! Thank you so much again!

Place was empty when I went there (right before closing time after a huge snowstorm).
Servers were laid back, friendly and efficient.
All their pizza are and pizzas (thin, not super deep like Chicago style). Ingredients seemed top quality and the “Aruguloni” I had was great… Right mix of cheeses and red onions sliced impossibly thin.

We enjoy Za and have been ordering from there for years. “Za” is short for pizza and the restaurant was almost named Pete’s Za, after the owner. They serve bar-style pies, a variety local to Massachusetts that has crispy edges almost like a Detroit style but thinner, though I’ve never seen the restaurant describe them as such.
We often get the mac and cheese pizza, a kid favorite, and the plain cheese, which I think is underrated. The unique salads are also winners.

That was some awesome food! The Pizza was in point. You actually feel light eating them. So was the Salads. Which were quite simple and elegant and tasteful. The service was wonderful as well! The 10 inch Pizza would be perfect for an individual and you can of course split a salad as the cherry on top. Highly recommend.

Love coming to Za! We always come on a weeknight for impromptu dinners and always feel like it’s a welcoming place.
Their pizzas are pan and can be customized the way you want it. Salads are generally well seasoned and sizeable for 1-2 people, depending on your appetite. They have a few wines and beers available if that’s of interest. All to finish off with affordable prices and a friendly atmosphere.

Good pizza and salad spot right along Mass ave in Arlington. This is more of a take out/kid friendly local pizza place kind of vibe but they do have sit down dining and table service (some outdoor seating too) along with serving beer and wine (2 beers on draft). The service was nice and the food was good with many salads and pizza options to choose from. I would also say that this is a very affordable place. Overall our group had a good time and I’d recommend here.
