Ok so don’t get me wrong. This place was yummy. But the service on the other hand, not so great. I’m not usually one to complain but the waitress that served us, I believe her name was Selena. She was nice at first. We had our 1 year old daughter eating with us and mind you it was our first time eating out together as a family so I was nervous how it would go. We haven’t got out in a while so we thought we’d use the weekend to go out and eat. Over the course of our time there, she wouldn’t respond when we’d thank her and came to us less frequently and I wondered towards the end if there was something wrong and why her mood changed. I never really was sure why. Where we really had a problem was when she apologized to the 2 girls at the table next to us for our daughter. Mind you, our daughter is a 1 year old just doing what a 1 year old does and we had her sitting there in a high chair. In my opinion, she did great and was loud at times but it was like what any one year old acted. I don’t understand why she had thought she had the right to apologize to the other table for MY kid. I don’t understand why she was bothered. That was very disrespectful of her and I don’t understand why she had a problem. She had no right to do that. In fact, The girls at the other table were friendly and were smiling at my daughter. Our daughter kept looking back at them and smiling back so I have no idea why the waitress thought it was right to apologize for us. The girls answered her “oh no! She’s fine!” It really put me in a discouraged mood and I don’t know why she had a problem. It made me sad. Service was a 0 to me because of that. When we got home , we brought home leftovers and found a piece of metal in my wonton soup. It was hard when I was chewing and when I found the piece in my mouth it was a little piece of metal and I have no idea how it got in my food. I know things happen and it probably was unintentional but I think the cooks need to definitely be more careful if they’re going to serve food with the possibility of something dangerous in the food. Overall, the place was a nice atmosphere and it it wasn’t for Selena being disrespectful to me and my family and for the piece of metal in my soup, we’d definitely go back. I think this girl needs to learn respect and a lesson or 2 about food service and not discriminating anyone. I put this behind me for a couple weeks actually but I thought about it and you know what? I have a right to stand up to someone when they’re disrespecting my kid because disrespecting my kid is disrespecting me too.

Just recently moved back to Altus, searching online for a new Chinese restaurant. Came across this place and was instantly intrigued! My family when there today and had the pleasure of being waited on by Zoraya, she was very helpful at giving us lots of details. We all was blown away and the HUGE portion sizes and the flavors was out of this world!! This will be our new go to place!!

We recently returned to YuYu’s and had to get our fill on our favorites, Mongolian Beef and General Tso’s Chicken. The serving sizes are large and the food was amazing! The owner is always so kind and friendly. If you’ve not yet had a chance to try YuYu’s, you must!!

We got some of the staples they have at every Chinese place, including the beef fried rice. I bit into a crunchy bit and blew it off. Then I bit into another crunchy bit. I was weirded put, but whatever, maybe it was just a crunchy onion or something. Then I mixed in some soy sauce because it didn’t have any flavor and found a couple pieces of egg shell on top of the ones I had already ate. One or two pieces of egg shell would be understandable, but not nearly half of an eggs worth of shell. Only thing that we got that was good was the pot stickers, everything else was flavorless and we had to drown it in soy sauce.

General Tso’s Tofu is amazing! They know exactly how to cook tofu, which is fairly rare! I’m from St Louis, and I’d be willing to drive 9 hours just to eat here again!
