The front desk person was super hard working and kind and the steamed dumplings are the best thing on the menu

When we arrived, there was no one in the restaurant, there was an employee sweeping. She asked us if we had placed an order and we told her we’d like to dine in and from then on she had an attitude. It was the most awkwardly terrible service I’ve ever had. My husband and I each ordered a lunch meal and got a side of lo mein and fried rice. When she was taking the order she said, “you want all of that for here? Or some of it to go?” I told her, we will eat what we can and take the rest with us. She put our order in and came back out to the table and said, “are you sure you don’t want that to go?” My husband and I looked at her and said, “we’d like to eat here.” The food was good, everything was fresh and came out hot, the service was just absolutely terrible. I’d rather eat at the Mexican restaurant next door, you get good food AND their service is amazing.

I normally don’t do many food reviews, but this was really disappointing. I ordered shrimp lo mein and why I got was spaghetti noodles and cooked shrimp that tasted like it had been sitting in soy sauce. This was not good at all.

Absolute garbage, meat is fatty and I’m not convinced that it’s all above board. First, the chicken was undercooked. You can see the pink in the photo I attached along with the surrounding fat. That was the general Tso
Lo mein was spaghetti noodles with a lo mein like sauce.
Sesame chicken was extremely over done but soggy at the same time. Idk how they managed that but apparently this place specializes in unfortunate miracles.
The only edible part of the meal was the rice and egg roll. Likely because it’s premade and just heated up.

My first time to visit and I selected the pork Lo Mein (L28) FOR $8.50. I have found that one usually gets great value in oriental restaurants and I simply could not eat the plate which included a soup, small chips and egg roll as well as the “plate”, I had to get a to-go container and finished the remainder at home later. The food was great and it was the most amount of food I have seen in any lunch special in a long time. Ill be eating there again when Im in the area. The “atmosphere” was very basic as many small Chinese restaurants are. I would recommend it.

Worst, tasteless Chinese food! If you like unseasoned food this place is for you. I ordered $60 worth of food that will be feeding the garbage. The chicken wings tasted old and unseasoned, I’ve never seen egg foo young prepared with the shrimp on top instead of folded into the omelet AND the sauce had barely any taste and was watery. To top it off the chicken lo mein was so bad even my toddler didn’t like it and she usually eats any noodle. I’m so sorry I decided to try a new place for much better Chinese food try China Palace.

We were served our meal before our soup. Meal got cold before we got to it. They do not serve iced tea nor water except a bottled water. We were disappointed. Commode doesn’t flush unless you take the lid off and do it by hand

Food was amazing!! My husband got Mongolian beef and I got the Mongolian chicken.
I totally recommend this place. Even during pandemic times, you can still enjoy this food like we did at their parking lot. ❤️❤️❤️

I dunno what changed but the food is no where as good as it used to be. I can taste shrimp in the chicken which makes me think cross contamination and unclean. I couldn’t even eat more than two bites. (Its bad when your chicken taste like bad fish.)The general tso used to be the best around but now it is not so great. Less sauce as well. Yall need to go back to how it used to be. Until then im gonna search somewhere else.

Yuck! My first and only time eating from here, and it was atrocious. I had the Mongolian beef, steamed dumplings and an egg roll. Firstly, the egg roll had a large, chewy piece of meat in it that was not edible, which immediately turned me off. It went straight in the trash. Next was the dumplings-the texture was off; extremely gummy. Lastly, the Mongolian beef so sweet I went into diabetic shock. Not really, but it was that sweet. The whole meal was a complete waste of money. I do not recommend Yu’s Garden for your Chinese food cravings.
