Food is great when they get the order correct. Often, they substitute ingredients without notice. We just ordered the jalapeño steak and one of the bell peppers still had a produce sticker stuck to it. Called to let them know and they didn’t believe us and wanted us to come back to show them…….. fried rice had no veggies… asparagus substituted for zucchini. We’ve talked to 3 people at the restaurant now and we were hung up on. This place seriously needs some better quality control and better management.

I normally hesitate to visit those eateries that serve all Asian foods as it is difficult to cope with the variety of cooking methods and ingredients. So to be on the safe side I tried lunch with Chinese fried noodles and hot and sour soup. Service was friendly and amazingly fast. I didn’t order an expensive or complex dish but it was very well prepared and tasty. I think I will try with more dishes and update the review but was worth the money.

I would say it is decent food. Not too great and not bad either. Pretty much the quintessential average Chinese restaurant, with a bit more variety thrown in. Don’t expect more. Had the eggplant hot pot. It did not look like a hot pot , but more like a plate of steamed eggplant in teriyaki sauce. The peanut curry was good. Food was low on salt in general. Will not be returning.

Had dinner here with a colleague. We ate in and since Gunbarrel is more of a quiet town in the evening, we were the only ones.

I live 1 mile away, this restaurant has been dropping off flyers at my house for years that say FREE DELIVERY! And my address is well within the delivery zone shown on the map. Yet they have always refused to deliver for free! That’s illegal!!! False advertising is highly illegal, not to mention their delivery prices dont match the menu prices. I got charged $25 for a sweet and sour chicken dinner, which is advertised for half that amount. This place is quite literally a scam, not sure how they’re still operating considering the laws they break. ALSO!!! I forgot to mention, it sometimes takes them 2-3 hours to make a delivery!!!!! Absolute trash service, the worst i’ve ever seen….and i’ve traveled and studied all over the world. Somebody set up a sting operation on this joint and bust em, shut em down for good

You have to know what to order, stick with the basics. I always get the combo fried rice and chicken wor soup. Consistently great! Locally owned business, the staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable, including on third party delivery websites since they deliver themselves.

The reviews show this place took over new ownership or leadership in the last year and the staff isnt concerned with food safety nor do they have any solid plans concerning efficiency. Thank you to the reviewers, we will not be ordering from this restaurant. Such a bummer bc it’s 2 blocks away!

Thank you for being kind and providing delicious food. We love the hot and sour soup (I usually add cayenne for a bit more kick), the sushi rolls, miso soup, and my husband loves the chicken chow fun.

Stay away or go to Buddha in Boulder! When we let the manager know, they forgot the rice, he said I can give it to you next time. When challenged he said he could deliver it in 45 min, which totally didn’t work for us. He didn’t offer any apology or a credit/refund. When we sat down to eat the “spring rolls”, they hardly had any veggies, the worst ever! The Pad Thai was tasty but basically, we got one entrée for $55 including tip. This is the second time they totally screwed up. It’s not about making mistakes, it’s what you do when they happen, like offering a refund…
