I’ve seen this store many times in passing but have never went in and now that i have I certainly don’t have any intention on returning. Im 3 month pregnant and was craving a blt and a smoothie when I walked in everybody seemed nice until… I order my blt at the counter before I could get a good look at the food when I got to the fruit for the smoothies strawberries drowning in water which looked like they had been frozen and defrosted so many times brown moldy avocados mangos turning brown wilted spinach EVERYTHING looked soooooooo old I asked a guy who was in there ordering a smoothie if it was good he said it was cheap and decent b he don’t order food so I tried to cancel my order and the owner said it was already done how could you even cook bacon that fast unless it was already done and sitting on the grill which you can’t see from the front. the owner(or guy behind the counter) then tells me to not come back into his store over a 3$ blt he was very rude and condescending everything that was on display looked old like it just sits there for ever he doesn’t have to worry about me coming back I wouldn’t choose to voluntarily give myself food poisoning BEWARE of this store you are most likely guaranteed to get sick the only reason I gave it 1 star was his staff remained respectful and seemed cheerful to sell the old food.

****BEWARE**** When I opened the sandwich, the bread is hard, the meat is old and look like it was microwaved, the meat is old, rubbery. I called and spoke to a man who answered, he seemed not to care and I hung up. If I had a car, I would drive over to take it back. Nasty and disgusting behaviors. I spent $32 between them and Uber. I just looked at other reviews. I’ve never seen Halal food served in such a nasty dehumanizing way. I can clearly see other pictures and reviews below. Shame on you.

Ordered pancakes from this place this morning 3 big pancakes humongous through Uber eats This place only sent two syrups which dried up really quick and I barely had any syrup to eat my pancakes Will not return or spend my hard earned money here . I see that this establishment only responds to good reviews not the ones that are really bad I would never return here anybody I know I will tell them not to go here not to mention this smoothies are watery as hell.

It’s one of my more preferred Deli’s along the eastern side of the Rockaways. It has medium height wooden tree trunks that are polished and tweaked for seating. Delicious smoothies and juices. Your typical spread of hot and cold food choices (my favorite of which is a New York staple, a “chopped cheese sandwich on a roll”). then they have great snack and soft beverage options. I gave a higher service rating because I’ve never had a bad experience. I don’t know about others, so I’m only gonna speak for me, I loved all of my Yumze experiences. A 3 rating for food because out of all the delis in general, I’ve simply had better. But again this is one of my preferred choices when going to a deli in Rockaway. Lastly, the atmosphere is a three because the surrounding neighborhood hasn’t always been my absolute delight to be in, despite that however, Yumze itself has never failed to delight me in all the years that I’ve been going there.

Originally tried to order a chopped cheese for delivery from the deli across the street. Their deli was down. Took a chance here. I live around the corner but don’t frequent either spot. The chopped cheese was lacking. It was “creamy” not cheesy!. Also it had no ketchup or bbq sauce on it. I’m used to this sandwich having one or the other. Their website doesn’t allow you to customize the order like the other deli does. So I’m disappointed. Maybe it would be better if I were able to go in and order it in person. I’m bummed that this isn’t hitting the spot. I also paid 3$ for extra meat and I dont see a difference .

Today was my first experience going to Yumze. The lovely lady who took and made our smoothies was pleasant. The gentleman who rang us up was just as pleasant. I got the incredible hulk smoothie, my love got Strawberry, banana, mango with honey smoothie( look up the menu or just stop in to try a variety of options). Aroma of the food orders being made we definitely will go back to explore more! As for our smoothies, Mmmm YUMZE

I’ve ordered from Yumze Food in Rockaway twice. Once last year and this year, 2022. Both times the food was just ok. The menu sounds better than the food itself.
Their fruit smoothies have a synthetic yogurt flavor. The sandwiches could be made better. If they don’t want to improve, then that says it all.

They gave spoiled avocado and French fries instead of home fries not cool the eggs look so poorly made I barely got any I spent 60.00 dollars for breakfast that was poorly made.
