Very authentic Thai food in a cosy half shop-lot setting. A nice place to enjoy Thai cuisine, and the spiciness can be adjusted to your preference. We ordered the Tom Yam Ayutthaya noodles and they were really delicious. The skewers were decent too, though the space is quite limited.

This shop is pretty small. If you come with more than 4 people, it feels cramp.

Their menu is more individual kind with good interesting blend of rice, noodle, soup menu. The only main course I tried was pad Thai, it was chewy and decent seasoned. Not my best pad Thai but nothing much to complain kind of taste.

I like how I can order 1 moo ping. Served piping hot which I like. I enjoyed this.

This shop might be okay for a normal decent meal without much expectations. Taste ok price is RM10++++per main course

A hidden gem. Half restaurant specialising in Thai noodles. Simple set up reminding me of restaurants in Krabi & Phuket. Friendly staff & owners. Reasonable pricing. Parking can be difficult during day time.

It wasn’t crowded during early weekday lunch. We ordered their signature Ayunthia Tom Yam noodles & phad thai. Plus a portion of moo ping to share. Everything tasted good. From the sticky charred moo ping to the rich yet light tom yum soup. The phad thai is one of the better ones I’ve had.

We washed it down with iced Thai tea which wasn’t too sweet however could do with stronger tea profile. We then capped the meal with their mango sticky rice. Quite good although wished the coconut sauce was thicker. Flavors were on point though.

A nice find. We enjoyed our meal. Will surely return to try other items.

Looking for some yummy Thai food to fill up your tummy? Come to Yummy Tummy Thai Noodles Cafe!

For my main dish, I ordered the Tomyam Ayuthaya Noodles (see pic). As I requested for less spicy, the soup was very bearable and definitely tasty, even my friend who likes Green Curry favor this over the Green Curry he ordered! The Thai instant noodles and meat has a chewy consistency, the radish slice was big, and the egg was soft! If you have a sweet tooth, I would also recommend that you try out their Mango sticky rice!

In terms of service, the staff were generally friendly. Nothing bad to share, nor was there anything extraordinary about the experience.

Regarding the atmosphere, the place is definitely a little crammed; the shop is a tight yet long cuboid. The shop was also a little plain, although it was clean during my time there with my friends.

All in all, I enjoyed my meal and time here. Looking forward to visiting here again in the near future!

Been walking past this unassuming Thai shop in Taipan for over a year since I moved here. Finally walked in today and had the MOST DELICIOUS dinner ! Whoa ! The Tom Yam fried rice was bursting with flavor and the creamy pork mama mee was to die for! The lemongrass tea was so refreshing ! Definitely my new “go-to” Thai place from now on. Tip- don’t forget to buy the pork rind crisps!! So good !

If you asked me.. 4.5 is the best suitable score. I chose to give 5 stars because of 4, I think they deserve it.

The “shortcoming” was the Pad Thai. Also, to be fair to them, even in Bangkok we have lousy Pad Thai. So… 5 stars to them.

Red Ruby was out of stock. Had the Thai milk tea instead. I think it was a bit “short of perfection” was maybe because I asked for less sweet.

What’s good? Pad Thai portion was OK for me, some might feel a bit small. What’s great? Perfect portions of ingredients, prawns, etc.

We liked the Tom Yam Mama Noodles. Some would write it as TomYam. A bit spicy for me, my tolerance for spiciness is a bit low and getting lower

Pork Skewers EXCELLENT.

Notice quite a few patrons ordering Pork Noodles Soup. We would wanna try that the next time we get here.

Authentic Thai food in USJ Taipan – this obscure shop (half shoplot) is fast gaining popularity among Thai food fans. Their Clear and Red Tom Yum soups are Great with lots of fish slices and chickens. Service is fast and friendly- run by a family. Mainly Single Portion meal.
Update: Mar 2025
It’s a very popular restaurant nowadays- food is still very good especially the Tim Yum fish noodles and Basil chicken rice.
