I’ve ordered from here before and never had a problem, but this time I got the American Dream Roll along with a few other things for dinner, and I found a staple inside the sushi. I’m 8 months pregnant, so it was really scary to come across that as I was about to eat it.
I’m just sharing in case it helps them be more careful moving forward. Definitely not something you ever expect to find in your food.

The quality of the sushi is much higher than every place in the area. A smaller establishment but extremely clean and friendly. They do use staples to close their bags if you get take out so just be careful when ripping said bag open to not get any bag or staple in your food.

The place is a little run down but I refuse to give anything less than 5 stars. Joy & Nate are the owners and work every single day. They are the ones serving you directly and it guarantees that proper amount of effort and care go into every meal.
The food is unbelievable and presented extremely well. Pricing is very fair amongst other Sushi restaurants.
Please please please. I urge you give it a shot if you are considering. They are awesome.

My husband and I have been going to Kushi Sushi for 13 years. They truly have the best Sushi. Whenever I am invited to any other sushi place, I always try the same rolls that I typically get at Kushi Sushi and they are never quite as good. Kushi Sushi has them all beat! The owners and staff are so pleasant too. Highly recommend!

Family owned business. I get a sushi sushimi for 2 that is amazing! It’s not on the menu. I just ask Nate and Joy to make something nice and they never disappoint! Nice people. Great food!

I have been coming here for over 6 years, I’ve given them leniency in my expectations during the pandemic. I cannot come here anymore. They have a child at the pick up window that can never find your order and lately it’s as if they don’t care what your order looks like. The rolls are barely put together, tossed in to the container without care. It’s so disappointing to spend money on food and have it fall apart.

I love the small family business owns by the very friendly chief & his wife, the courses from salads, main entries, desserts are delicious, and you can put in special request like my wife can’t take wasabi at all, the chief has created a specific replacement source that my wife loves it very much, this is kind of unique compare to other Japanese restaurant. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any special need. Enjoy!!!
