Yummy Huli Huli Chicken was an amazing dining experience and a perfect stop after visiting Kualoa Ranch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even took the time to share stories behind the local dishes, which made the experience both fun and memorable.
Of course, the food itself was outstanding. The Huli Huli chicken was juicy, tender, and full of smoky flavor from the grill, while the garlic shrimp was equally impressive—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with firm, satisfying texture. Everything tasted freshly prepared and generously portioned.
The location is very convenient, especially if you’ve just finished a tour at Kualoa Ranch. Stopping here afterward for a hearty and delicious meal felt incredibly rewarding.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic local flavors, great service, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Sooooooo good! do not miss this spot!
We found this roadside BBQ chicken stand during our drive around the island. The huge outdoor grill and all that smoky aroma immediately pulled us in.
One whole chicken is perfect for two people. The skin was crispy, the meat super juicy, and there was a subtle nutty sweetness in the glaze that made it extra addictive.
Great flavor, generous portion, and very good value. It’s also really convenient if you want to do take out and enjoy it for beach side picnic

Hands down the best Huli Huli chicken and garlic shrimps we had in Hawaii!
We had the peeled shrimp in spicy sauce and it was perfectly cooked and very tasty.
Chicken was so tasty and juicy. This was the best meal had in Hawaii.
They have nice big indoor seating. Highly recommend to try this place when in Hawaii.

This spot is conveniently located near Kualoa Ranch – and a perfect place to have lunch after your tours! I had always wanted to taste Huli Huli chicken – and our tour guide also vouched for this spot. We arrived and were welcomed by the amazing smell of roasting chicken on a trailer by the street. They have a lot of parking spots outside. We were greeted by two gentlemen who were carefully and diligently cooking the chicken outside. We got a whole huli huli chicken, a yummy salad, a medium coke and a bowl of rice. There are plenty of seats inside – it’s big! The chicken was perfectly cooked – and was so juicy. Be prepared to get your hands dirty as all chicken is bone-in. The huli huli sauce was spicy and had a unique tang to it. The salad was fresh and had cucumbers, baby tomatoes and lettuce. The rice was warm and soft. We didn’t even look up the whole time we were eating. An amazing and special find that I will definitely return to in future.

Food was really great and so was the price. I definitely recommend stopping by and tasting some authentic and tasty chicken. The garlic shrimp was also really good and it’s it’s a bit like Peruvian chicken, but their own taste and methods. I would definitely stop here again. Next time I’m on the island.

Stopped by to treat our visiting friends to some Huli Huli chicken, which was not one of the better ones. The shop had already stopped making chicken by the time we arrived, so we kind of ate the leftovers, which may explain the dryness of the chicken. Maybe it tastes better when fresh.
On the other hand, its garlic shrimps were one the better ones on Oahu. This week alone, we’d tried garlic shrimps from 5 different places and this one was top rated. The service staff was friendly, except for older lady at the register, who was not at all friendly. The eating area was generally clean, but lacked any atmosphere, Hawaiian or otherwise.

So glad we stopped here for a bite. They’re out front grilling the chicken on a huge rotisserie, and the smell alone pulls you in. We ordered the half chicken plate and the fish plate. The mac salad was amazing, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The huli huli sauce is honestly drinkable—it’s that good. The chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor. The fish had a thicker, doughy breading than I prefer, but it was still really fresh. The portions, freshness, and affordability are unmatched.

We were hoping the Huli Huli chicken would be as good as the Gj’s Huli Chicken in the Big Island. But it was not. The taste was kind of bland, so we dipped in the dipping sauce, but the sauce was just ok, nothing special.
The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables. Free parking.
There’s a 3% surcharge for credit card payment.

Stopped here after going to the ranch, the food was a ton of 10. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful with menu items and the food tasted so fresh. I recommend and would love to eat here again before we leave the island. I ordered the half chicken and my kids got the pulled pork and I got the shrimp. Excellent.
