The OG of Chinese hole in the wall restaurants. Not a place where you’ll find orange-sauced chicken nuggets but an obvious neighborhood favorite judging from the continual to-go traffic. We enjoyed generous portions of chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. One star withheld for greasy egg rolls. The egg drop soup lacked flavor (to me) but the egg was very tender. The atmosphere was lacking but the prices make up for it; $16 each for our meals plus counter tip.

Review for Crab Rangoons. NOT-CRAB-RANGOONS. They are sweet cream cheese wontons. And when I called back up there she tried to say it’s imitation crab meat. Ma’am, there is NO meat in there at all. Just sweet cream cheese. And I can’t imagine you pureed the fake crab meat to the point that it’s just a cream. #FalseAdvertising

We really enjoyed trying this place for the first time today. We ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi; steak, chicken and shrimp hibachi and the barbecue chicken wings with fries. The to go trays of hibachi were filled to the top with lots of veggies, good portions of meat and rice. My son smashed the wings and asked after where it was from because he loved them so much. We ordered there and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. The lady who took our order was very nice. We will definitely be back!

Definitely some of the best hibachi I’ve ever had. The staff was so kind and they didn’t hold back on the sauces either. I didn’t have to ask for more and I usually do. Everything was even packed nicely. I loved the dividers between the different meals. Love it!

I’ve lived in the area for a while and don’t know why i’ve been sleeping on this place. Decided to try a new place I haven’t been to and got the Hibachi Chicken. 10/10 Will definitely be back!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hibachi Yummy for a long time and usually enjoy their food. Today, however, I was very disappointed. I went in specifically to buy their white sauce—which they normally sell for 50 cents each—and was told I could not purchase it unless I spent over $10. I was more than willing to pay for the sauces, yet they refused to sell them to me.
This makes no sense and shows poor customer service. As a regular customer, I expected better treatment. Refusing a small purchase like this is not only inconvenient but also leaves a bad impression.

I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now, and I get the hibachi chicken with broccoli only/ fried dumpling with brown sauce and the food is ALWAYS hot, fresh, and presented perfectly!
Also, the lady/owner that checks you out is professional and always friendly with a smile.

OMGoodness!!!!! Randomly in the area so thought we would try…hands down THE best hibachi/chinese food we’ve had in NC over the last 4 years.
We had chicken & steak hibachi, chicken & shrimp hibachi dinners and chicken lo mein.
Sorry pics were from next day – all steak eaten and lo mein was ordered without veggies.
