Stumbled upon this place during our dive bar passport adventures. The atmosphere was pretty basic bar style—not quite full-on dive bar vibes—but still a fun spot to stop in for a drink. We didn’t get a chance to eat, but the menu looked solid and had a few things that definitely caught our eye. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and collecting passport stamps!

Finally made my way over here! I been told from friends to check it out, so I did! The atmosphere is very beautiful. My service wasn’t so good as we told the bartender we didn’t like spicy… So I guess the jalapeños cheese was spicy on the loaded fries. We just took it all home to throw it away… I ordered the Philly cheesesteak. It was okay, but I had better. I know I will never order those 2 again. I will be back here, though!

I experienced this place back in 2003-2004 man did it shine. Ralf owned it & Brian was the bartender. I was in beauty school. I helped out behind the bar occasionally. I have such fond memories of this place. St. Patrick’s Day and the bus taking patrons from bar to bar was a blast. I’ve since moved to Colorado. Wisconsin is my home state. I was 25 then, I’m 49 now. The bar and food was never much to mention but the people made it what it was. It was a landing spot. We met, had a few then went snowmobiling or bar hopping around the lake. The Coachlight will always have my heart.

We went to try the wings, and they did not disappoint. They are breaded like regular fried chicken and very large. You can order them naked with the sauce on the side as well. The Thursday AYCE wing special is an excellent value. Plus, the staff is super friendly. They even gave my dad a complimentary meal because it was Veterans Day. He had a great time. Tried the AYCE white fish on Friday, and enjoyed it.

Great place for a Friday night fish fry. Saturday is $3.00 1/4 pound hamburger day. Sundays are broasted chicken dinners.
