Hello Gem City of Dayton!! I’ve been going to this restaurant for several years but I’ve noticed that the demeanor of the owner has declined. I went in today to tell her how much I appreciated her service over the years (since her establishment is closing 12/31/25) and how much I love her yummy cheesburgers! But, to my demise she yelled at me in front of a diner of 6 people because I combed the ends of my hair (away from everyone) while checking some business emails waiting on my food to get done done cooking. From 1 business owner to another, it seemed very odd that she would yell at me (another business owner) JUST for lightly combing the ends of my hair (AWAY FROM FOOD, PEOPLE, ETC.). The whole diner was surprised about her verbal outrage towards me. At that moment, I gently put on my coat, hat and scarf > told her to cancel my order + told her to have a blessed day > and I gracefully walked out of her diner. I will pray that she find peace in her heart for other people and that she retires in grace. May God bless whatever is bothering her on the inside and may she find peace ✌️

This is hands down my favorite downtown restaurant. The food is so good, and I really enjoy the woman who makes it—she’s very kind, sweet, and funny! If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. Side note: the bacon cheeseburger with fries is amazing!

Make sure you have plenty of time!!! The burgers are huge and wonderful, but do NOT expect to see your food for possibly 30-40 minutes and don’t get impatient. I haven’t sampled anything else, but it’s where I will go if I’m downtown!

The lady in there is very rude and dirty. She wiped ketchup off my bun with a towel didn’t think I saw it. Got and attitude when I called it out. Said it was a clean towel. Very nasty from the time I walked in the door. Not trying to get sick eating a cheeseburger. I don’t trust that lady.

If you are looking for a great burger and funky experience, this is the place. The owner is crazy fun. She like no other. The food was fantastic, burger a good medium, fresh and hot, the steak fries, delicious. The only minus is to go with time to spare. One person operation when we were there. 45 minutes for the burger. But it was well worth it.

Absolute BEST burger in town from the most unexpected of places. Her Thai food is also delish, but can be pretty spicy, if you’re not used to it, so I’d suggest beginning at a lower level of spice(2/10) when first trying it. This is entirely a one woman show, so don’t expect to be in and out in a minute…
