Stopped by Yummy Botana yesterday evening (for the first time) on a whim because we wanted some esquites to go with dinner. I was pretty blown away with how pleasant the staff were! I wish I would’ve caught the young lady’s name, but she was so nice! I ordered two cups of esquites and a slice of flan. While the esquites were top notch…y’all. THE FLAN. It was so delicious! Fast forward to today and I convinced my coworker to try something from there so I could have a reason to go back. Collectively, we ordered more esquites, fresas con crema (strawberries and cream…that cream!!), and watermelon sorbet. Typically they put tamarind candies and tajin on the sorbet but I just wanted to try it on its own. Everything was soooo good!! And I had to have a crocheted hanging plant because it’s too adorable! This will be my summer spot for sweet treats and fresh fruits! And more to try!

Delicious esquites and horchata! The young man who was working was so nice and welcoming, and I loved the decor. This is what I love to see more of in downtown Lexington.

We stopped here for a quick treat. I got us the churro cheesecake. Not sure if they were homemade but it was definitely delicious. Strawberries were fresh and loved the cream.

The place is nice and the guy there told us most of the things they serve.
The prices are a bit high for what you get and the ice cream wasn’t too great.
The cream filled churros were good.
Spent almost $17 bucks for 2 double scoop cups and 2 churros.
If you are in a pinch and really want ice cream you can visit them.

I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s my go-to spot for their incredible esquites, refreshing limón bars, and delicious limón ice. The ice cream and milkshakes are absolutely delightful, and my girlfriend is a big fan of their flan. The owner, Jahir, is a young entrepreneur who is always kind, genuine, and welcoming. It’s inspiring to see such dedication and passion in a local business. I highly encourage everyone to give this place a try!

The owner here is very young and extremely hard-working and would love to see him get more business. . with all customers and so welcoming, it’s hard to see why he doesn’t have more stores yet. Definitely recommend stopping in and taking a tour of main Street.
