We were really excited to try this place after it opened in Brighton. And let me preface this review with the fact that we don’t like sushi or seafood. But we do love good Asian food with chicken, beef, pork. We ordered edamame with chili oil, a couple of Asian beers, hot and sour soup, kung pao chicken and beef fried rice. Beers were an outstanding price $2 a bottle. I probably would have ordered three beers with dinner but our waiter came to our table maybe three times in the entire service; once to take the order, once to deliver the order and once to clear the table and bring check. So definitely lost some points for not checking in on us during the meal. Hot and sour soup was pretty good, served at good temp and had very good flavor. Edamame with chili oil also pretty good, very salty and spicy. The thing that killed the dinner was the entrees. The beef and chicken had literally the same texture, chewy rubbery, horrible mouth feel. Entrees were served warm, not hot. Fried rice was overcooked badly. Kung pao had a good sauce and veg was good but the meat was so bad that we couldn’t even eat it. Will probably go one more time just to see if something else blows us away, but for over $50, this meal was not worth it.

We visited on Christmas Day and it was delicious! The spring rolls were amazing, the bento boxes were plentiful, and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic sushi! I don’t like seafood/sushi – but I’ve been on the hunt for a cooked/fried philadelphia roll since I had it a few years ago at a resort. It is such a delicious roll with a light crisp on it. I’m so happy to finally find it especially locally after trying 4-5 different restaurants around Michigan. Thank you so much Yume Sushi!
Not the best pictures since we were hungry and it’s dark out. Presentation of some of the sushi could use some work lol, but we sincerely appreciate the meat/fish proportions in each roll, especially for the price. This will become a weekly staple for us and I’m excited to branch out with more rolls!
The edamame and gyoza apps were great too.

While I didn’t dine in at this restaurant, I did do a significantly sized take out order for a food photoshoot. The restaurant was courteous enough to label all the items that went together and everything looked very appealing. I had the Crunchy Shrimp roll and it was delicious! If I’m in Brighton and considering Sushi I’ll definitely stop in!

New hidden gem! 3 of us were passing through on our way home to Ohio and we found this place. The online ordering was easy to navigate and we were impressed with the selection of simple and creative sushi rolls. The prices were very reasonable too! Our order was ready quickly, and we appreciated the option to pay upon pickup. I almost wish we had the time to dine in, the interior is cozy, clean, and well decorated! Everything we ordered was fresh and well made. We will definitely return if our travels take us in this direction again!

I was pleased with the variety of rolls and diversity of the menu. The quality of fish was excellent, I ordered the yellowtail dinner. Also, the decorations are nice.

Decided to randomly try the sushi here on a Friday night. Did not even know this place was in the area and were extremely surprised how good the food and restaurant was. It’s always a good sign when the dining room is full of people when trying a new restaurant.
The sushi rolls were very fresh and all the components were perfect. This is definitely the best place for sushi in Livingston county! We will most likely only get our sushi from here when we are in the area. We did not have the cooked food but from the quality of the sushi I assume it is terrific too.
Restaurant was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
Looking forward to returning!

Ordered rolls….got…idk? Scones? Sushi was warm when I picked it up even though I was early. The wrap was very tough. But it was ok. It’s on par with grocery store sushi I guess. Nothing really special. Staff was nice
Edit- it literally showed and said hand rolled. My sushi was sitting on the counter while 3 people stared at me for 5-8 minutes with no reply or help. THAT is why the sushi was warm. Try to have some accountability. You sold me something not indicative of the pictures and it was warm. Sushi should not be warm under any circumstances. Left 3 stars, the owners reply and lack of accountability moves it to 1 star. This place will be out of business like the last restaurant that it replaced. Thanks for your help

Best sushi in Brighton! All food was great! They are fast with service and you can except to be well taken care of. They don’t currently have alcohol so keep that in mind.
