Yume Ramen Verona: L’Arte del Ramen in un Posto Zen
Reviews
This cozy and friendly Ramen Bar has all it takes to let every customer that comes in feel and taste one of the most typical Japanese traditions.
The first time my girlfriend and I tried their Tokyo Ramen (best seller) we were stunned: the quality of the ingredients of every Ramen Bowl is top notch.
Overall the staff suggestions are on point and it really appears that it has been done a lot of studies behind all of this project.
Some of the items are made in house, which is great.
The dining set-up is something I really like and enjoy (no reservations, no individual tables).
They even offer a variety of seasonal/season inspired dishes.
We are regulars at Yume and we enjoy it a lot every time we are in Verona together.
You can become a member of their loyalty program, Yumers Club, where you can get free noodles refill for your Ramen (Kaedama) and even get a priority access to their exclusive events.
This Ramen cafe hidden in a small alley gave us an unforgettable experience.
Absolutely top quality classic ramen and zen minimalistic interior with philosophical question to yourself: What’s your dream?
There is a piece of paper and a pencil on the table in front of you and you are asked to go through 3 steps.
1. Admit your love to yourself and listen to yourself.
2. Using positive verbs, formulate what is really important to you!
3. Write your dream with the beginning phrase: I want ….
Take the first step towards making your dream come true.
And after it, hang this piece of paper on the magic wall. The staff says that it works and dreams come true. Of course, this is just a creative marketing ploy, but who knows, maybe this wall is really magic? 😉
We had two different types of ramen, one vegetarian, and they were both amazing! Their green tea that we had with the ramen reminded me of peaches, absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is just wow! They have a ‘wall of dreams’ where you can write down your dreams for the future. This lead to an incredibly interesting dinner conversation.
They also have gluten free noodles!
They have a printed menu in Italian and a digital menu in English (and possibly other languages)
The dumplings didn’t taste of much and the texture was too chewy and thick, in my opinion, so I would skip those☺️
But all in all compared to the price, then it was good! But if you have high expectations and have had many ramens beforehand then just take all this in to consideration
