Cornerstone Tavern is a cozy, noteworthy gem in the league of sports bars in NYC—whether it be wandering in after a long day in the hustle and bustle, meeting up with friends, catching up on some football, testing your knowledge at trivia nights, and my favorite: karaoke nights! There’s something about belting out bops in a timeless, tavern style venue that takes away the nerves of singing your heart out. With less ego, and more community (contrary to some karaoke spots I’ve been to that literally have patrons who critique how you sing—like, really Ed?), I love how the host makes everyone feel encouraged and comfortable, handing over the mic like a passing of the baton, and supporting every singer along with the crowd. I was so moved in singing November Rain, and these two British lads were so kind and even shook my hand. I had such a wonderful time, and appreciate the times I’ve occasionally found myself at Cornerstone Tavern, with an amazing team of bartenders and staff overall who create quite the legacy in Turtle Bay. These folks work so hard, probably with very long hours, but nonetheless treat their customers like family. When I was getting tired, one bartender Matt even asked if I was ok, while a fellow patron offered to braid my poofy hair. Now that’s community! Thank you all for cheering me up, and creating such an awesome space. Happy Holidays!

The service was excellent! Valentino is the best—he really makes the experience at the place a great one. In addition, I tried the classic burger and the meat was delicious! I truly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, the karaoke, and the bartender’s service.

Cool little tavern in Midtown. Definitely a good hangout spot for drinks. Not the best place for a family, especially with stool-type seating and a bit of a draft floating through. Food was very good though; between the loaded fries, quesadillas, pulled pork sliders and nachos. Homemade lemonade was great too! Would recommend for non-families.

If you’re looking for a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy great company in NYC, look no further than Cornerstone Tavern! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy—a perfect backdrop for a date night.

We had the pleasure of being served by Kaitlyn, an absolute gem of a bartender! She was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable, making excellent drink recommendations that truly elevated our evening. I opted for a cosmopolitan, which was perfectly balanced and delicious, while my date indulged in a top-shelf tequila that Kaitlyn suggested—definitely a hit!

But the real star of the night was the wings. They were absolutely incredible—crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. We couldn’t get enough!

Overall, Cornerstone Tavern exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. If you find yourself in NYC, make sure to stop by and ask for Kaitlyn. She’ll take great care of you!

Cheers to new favorites and wonderful experiences at Cornerstone Tavern! ✨

A local beighborhood sports bar, (that definitely smells like a bar) with plenty of TVs and spacious with lots of seating at bars and high tops. Decent food menu, we enjoyed the truffle fries and the pulled pork nachos. Cocktails were just OK, lots of beers to choose from. Bartenders are attentive.

Do not go here! Went here with my friends for the first time and none of the bartenders paid attention to us when we were trying to pay our bill. We even called out to them and they ignored us! There’s plenty of better bars in the area

Went here for brunch at 12:30 on a Saturday. Maybe because of covid it wasn’t that busy just yet but got busier indoors. We were outside. Food was good and bottomless mimosas.
