I’d been hearing about this place for over a year, and this wasn’t hype. It was genuinely, really good. very very good.
The red sauce on the left was way too spicy for me, so one tiny dip and I was done. The sauce on the right was slightly sweet and worked perfectly with the jjim jjum.
I eat Thai basil pork all the time, and this was easily the best one I’ve had. Usually pad krapao is salty, but this one wasn’t salty at all. Plenty of sauce too, so it mixes perfectly with the rice.
Their signature dish is pork tongue, and honestly, I was skeptical. It’s not something I usually eat. But wow, it was so good. The texture was like really good 닭똥집, no smell at all. I immediately understood why it’s their signature.
The grilled pork (khao moo yang) was also excellent. Not dry, not overly fatty, just the right balance. The smoky flavor was on point.
Papaya som tam was decent. Corn som tam was a miss for me, as the seasoning felt uneven. But to be fair, the other dishes were so strong that these just felt average in comparison.
Even the sausages were flavorful on their own, and the onions on the side were a perfect match. i really dislike salty food, and this place nailed the balance.
For the jjim jjum, the staff cooks everything for you and even portions it out into individual bowls. with lemongrass, herbs, vegetables, you can feel your body relaxing as you eat. (but the meat inside the jim jum itself was just okay.)
The real game changer though: adding enoki mushrooms. Highly recommend adding them and eating them with the rice noodles.
And dessert! the coconut ice cream was so good. Somewhere between sorbet and gelato. Clean, fresh coconut sweetness.
From start to finish, everything just worked. A really satisfying meal.
We had an amazing meal here with friends. We ordered duck chins, half a roasted chicken, spiced fried meatballs, Thai papaya salad, and seafood soy sauce stir-fried flat noodles — every dish was delicious and well-seasoned.
For four people, we also shared the L-size “Luxury Mixed Hot Pot”, which came with a generous variety of seafood, pork, beef, and vegetables. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the portion size was more than enough.
P.S. The duck chins were so good that my friends ordered two extra plates — crispy, flavorful, and totally addictive.
Great food, consistent quality, and perfect for sharing with friends.
Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food was great, the highlight of course was the bbq and the broth was super yummy great. Their stir fried pork was just wonderful!
I will definitely come back here when I visit Thailand again in the future. Love from Sabah, Malaysia!
I felt very sad with that kind of value of food but seems like being taken a ride .
