The staff was very friendly and service was good, chatted with the Chinese lady likely the owner for a bit, rather pleasant, food were served quick and hot. But I have to be honest, as a native Chinese lived aboard for decades, the taste is really so so, even using the standard of Chinese food aboard. The Raman broth is not Chinese or Japanese, with a sweet tone. The vegetable are from the cans and tofu were frozen fried tofu. The cumin beef is also disappointing. The Thai curry beef appeared to be the most “authentic”

Loved the food! It was just sooo tasty – we had a curry with rice and wok with noodles as well as starters. The flavours were great – it was a really good meal. They are excellent for catering for dietary requirements including vegan food for us!

Unfortunately not a good meal here for me and my partner on Saturday night.. reviews looked good from other customers but we were let down big time.

Ordered the “Bang Bang Chicken” which sounded great but turned out to just be a breaded chicken fillet on a plate with some sauce drizzled on it, and to charge 8.50 for it was criminal. The same chicken fillets are sold in petrol stations for 2euro!

I had a cashew prawn dish which was okay and my partner had a the chicken ramen which was a let down. The only flavour was spice and apart from that the noodles tasted cheap and the chicken was dry. Plus it was the first time I’ve had ramen which didn’t have an egg, sweet corn or the usual toppings on it.

I would have told the staff about our disappointment but not once were we checked on to see if everything was ok, neither did they ask when we went up to pay.

Not normally one to post reviews but left very disappointed by this! Would not recommend it !

I should have know from the otherwise vacant dining room that maaaaaaybe something was awry….

My green curry was completely unremarkable. No reason to complain- it was, like, the Coldplay of green curries. Neither my blessing nor my curse.

My friend’s “Singapore noodles”, however…oof.
She said that it was disgusting almost immediately and I- as so not a foodie- might have dismissed her opinion completely but she made me sample it. And I did. And dear Lord: it tasted like body odor smells. Like, awful.

When a gentile response to “how was your food” was obligated, the server explained that “it might be different in other places”.
Which is true, but most variations are at least edible.

I’ll leave it there. We are having a pint now and reevaluating life decisions, that one being the most recent.

My friends and I had Chicken Thai Green Curry, Prawn Chili Lime, Pad Thai, and Chicken & Prawn Tum Yum. Well, as fellow Asian, I can assure you that this restaurant served one of the best Asian food!! It tasted almost the same as Black Canyon back home! I’m touched . Thank you for serving good Asian food; I’m not that homesick now lol. Btw, chicken are Halal and the ambient is nice too (oh, how I wish there is a franchise in my city).

We live in Thailand, so we didn’t have high hopes for Asian food in Westport, but we had a craving and YumYum hit it. Just good, fresh, enjoyable food. Massaman curry, General Tso’s, and the Korean wings were tasty. All very mild but delicious.

The guy who worked there was charming and kind as well.

A surprising gem down a little alley in Westport. The entrance doesn’t look like much but don’t be deterred. A short climb upstairs to a cute bright room with lots of tables and pretty bird motif chairs. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. We ordered the Baby Back Ribs and Tom Yum soup for a starter. Delicious! And the soup especially had the perfect combination of flavors. Next came the Cumin Beef and Chili Lime Beef, served with white rice. We thoroughly enjoyed both. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert so can’t comment on that. If you are tired of potatoes (chips), chowder, chicken wings – all the usual suspects – as we were, do yourself a favor and stop in at Yum Yum Asian on Bridge Street.

Ordered Singapore noodles and it was nowhere close to what it’s meant to be. Wheat noodles instead of rice and the sauce tasted like cup noodle seasoning.
Ate four bites and felt sick.
Paid full price for food that was inedible. Would have rather eaten week old sushi from the grab and go at Supervalu.
*Updating because three 5 star reviews came in directly after I left mine which are clearly from staff or friends. One specifically mentions the Singapore noodles and how they are “different than other restaurant” which is exactly what the server told me at the restaurant.
I will not argue they were different, but…
I have eaten Singapore noodles many, many times in different cities and while there is usually some variation they are always edible, unlike this time.

The food was just okay, not particularly impressive. We had a hunch that the duck rolls and vegetable rolls might have been pre-packaged and not freshly prepared. To make matters worse, the staff seemed inattentive, leaving our table unattended after we finished eating. One of the staff members even sat down in front of us to have her own dinner. We had to patiently wait until she finished before we could request the bill. It was a disappointing experience with lackluster customer service.
