I had pleasant interactions with both of the gentleman working. The food was amazing and unfortunately I could not try all the things that looked good in the menu. Good sized portions for the price. I’m happy that Riverbank has a sushi spot now, and a good one at that!

Their Blaze Roll hits with a good heat and smooth flavor throughout, the crunchiness of the shrimp tempura is not lost inside this monster roll. Awesome flavor and will be back.

Just finished one of the best sushi rolls I have had in a very long time. Crazy P’s was recommended by the chef. He was spot on! Cozy little spot. Still brand new and looks like they a getting some stuff installed as far as decor. Over all, fantastic service and great food. I have not tried it all. However, if the rest of their food is half as good as the sushi roll I just devoured then it is worth the trip. Thank you very much to the owners and employees. I will most definitely be back!

Super friendly staff. Delicious food. They are clearly set on delivering something special to the community. We had the fried cauliflower, Calamari and two rolls and left full and happy. The owner said they’re gonna have blue fin this weekend so I’m going back in two days cause blue fin is my all time favorite and it’s increasingly rare to find a restaurant that will invest money in high quality ingredients. We showed up about an hour before close and it was slow so service was incredibly fast. They even made us special sauces for the rolls. You can tell they are passionate about what they do, it comes through in the food. Really excited to see their long term plans come to fruition. If you love good food, great flavor combinations and something new and different give them a shot!

Stopped in on a whim to check out the sushi burritos, and I’m glad I did! The food is delicious, fairly priced, and the owner, David, was very welcoming and enthusiastic about his craft. A hidden gem, but probably not hidden for long. We will certainly be returning!

I know what your thinking, sushi, in riverbank, but… This has been one of the best places I’ve been too. Having it local is a major plus. The guy who helped us was amazing, great service, great knowledge of the menu which is good to have. Made some great suggestions and the rolls are delicious. Definitely one of a kind. Recommendations… California roll, can’t go wrong there…. Volcano roll, has some spice but nothing major just all flavor. We got more but are taking to go. 10/10 definitely coming back. And will post pics next time.

Here again at our favorite sushi place on a Saturday. Pro tip, be patient. They get busy and it takes a bit to get your food. But it’s worth it!
The appetizers are awesome. The entrees and amazing. I still need to try the sushi burrito. That’s next on my list.

First time here and it was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The sauce for the tempura was to die for. We dined on the patio that was spacious and shaded. Great customer service. We will definitely be back.. so many more things on the menu to try.

Thought I would give them a chance with their strange Sushi. Ordered $70 in food. Nothing out of the normal. Two tempura rolls, a bento box and teriyaki chicken. Waited 30 mins then they cancelled my order saying they are too busy for my order. So now I have to wait 5-7 days for a refund, because they can’t make food off their own menu. Last time I order FAKE Japanese food from a no name place. Go to Sushi Garden in Modesto. Don’t even bother here.
