OMG I have so many good things to say.

They’re in such a good location.
Their employees are awesome.
Their portions are good & the quality is TOP.
3rd time there I found my fav order – THE BISCUIT SANDWICH, + HAM & AVOCADO. Heck of a biscuit.
Get the hashbrowns bites + hollandaise & some chili crunch.

Egg sandwich with the Norwegian bread was LOVELY too.

In the barren wasteland desert that is Bloomington’s small business scene, Scramblin’ Egg is a gold mine OASIS. I was so freaking pumped when they got a storefront AND wahooooo it’s close to my office.

2 downsides:
-it’s like $1 I think to add avocado? & I just think for that you should get more than what was on there. There were like 2 slices.

-lack of space for seating; it’s so cute in there, I’d love to stay & bask in the yolky glow!

12/06/2025 first time here. Excellent staff. They have self ordering tablets which are very straightforward. Other customers were friendly and made recommendations. Busy but not too busy, just the perfect customer balance to ensure hot fresh made food. No tables insides to eat, so we ate in the car. Food was excellent. Quinoa and everything excellent. Appropriately priced. I really appreciated them not using Styrofoam but instead compostable bowls. I won’t return to restaurants that use Styrofoam, so I will be back. I had a bowl with egg, Quinoa, yellow rice, ham, mushrooms, peppers and onions. Excellent.

Stopped in for the first time and was not disappointed. Greeted with cheerful hello as she did to everyone who came in. Wait was reasonable for a fresh made sandwich. I had the bacon, egg with spicy scrambling sauce on bread. The eggs are fluffy and well seasoned, the bread was perfectly toasted, the bacon crispy but not overcooked and the spicy sauce was balanced and not too spicy. The oat milk coffee was fine and priced accordingly. There’s only a place to wait for your order, no tables but parking was easy. I’ll be back.

The overall quality is good. But, caution, I had heated it in a microwave when I got home and didn’t know it was wrapped in foil – which is risky.

The standard burrito ($12) is decent size. I had never had a breakfast burrito with rice in it, so I gave it a try. It’s pretty rice-heavy.

I’d probably like it more without rice and with double eggs or meat. The sausage in the burrito was more on the well-done side, a little bit dry; not exactly what I was expecting.

The White Squirrel coffee ($4) tastes alright. Kind of tastes like a K-cup, though.

No dine-in.

I am a full-on super fan. I have been eating Scramblin’ Egg since their food truck days, and I even own a Scramblin’ Egg t-shirt, which should tell you how much I love this place. I have had everything on the menu food-wise, and every single sauce, and they are all amazing. I also just tried the cheesy hashbrowns today, and they absolutely live up to the hype.

This is hands down my favorite breakfast burrito. It is massive and definitely a two-hand burrito. The bacon is thick, the eggs are incredibly soft, and the flavors are consistently perfect every single time. The spicy scramblin’ adds just the right amount of heat, and adding extra scramblin’ is always the right move. Everything is generously portioned, filling, and so satisfying.

Every sauce is worth trying. They all bring something different, and you truly cannot go wrong no matter which one you choose.
Jazz is amazing and always so helpful. The service is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

Casual, fun, and comfort-food perfection. It is the kind of place you crave and keep coming back to.

I highly recommend ordering ahead to avoid a longer wait, especially on Saturdays when it gets busy. I do not have any photos to share because I am always too eager to eat everything the second I get home.

10/10, no notes.

First time at scramblin egg and I’m only a little disappointed, but still give 5 stars because it was tasty.
I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with the scramblin sauce.
The sausage and taste was not what I had expected, I was hoping for a breakfast sausage type patty and not chunks of some sort of chorizo sausage. It had a little spice to it but still tasted good, just not what I had expected. I guess I should’ve read the non-5 star reviews before ordering, because this “sausage issue” was brought up before. Next time I’ll be ordering bacon, hope that those will not be bacon bits, jk.
The bread was toasted perfect though and the egg and cheese were delicious. Overall a great sandwich, and filling.
The best part though were the hash browns, they were awesome. They reminded me so much more of German potato pancakes than American hash browns. I got the scramblin sauce with it, but they don’t need any sauce, they are so tasty without it. If anything I would recommend to serve them with applesauce, maybe they can add applesauce as a side item, that’ll be awesome.
Prices were fair for today’s standards. $16 total for the sandwich, hash browns and a side of scramblin sauce.
I probably won’t be making an extra trip down here, but if I’m in the area before 2pm I’ll drop in again some day.

Eggs is a comfort food of mine and they did not disappoint. Everything was freshly made and yummy. SpongeBob was playing in the background. Made my millennial heart happy. The person who took my order was helpful and kind. The egg wall art is cute and creative. Will return again.

Such a great breakfast spot! I’m glad I saw this on social media since it’s tucked away in Bloomington. We tried the everything sandwiches, and loved that you can add whatever vegetables you want. The scramblin’ sauce was delicious too. The hash bites were perfectly crispy and amazing. For $11, it felt like a great deal for a large breakfast sandwich. The staff was super nice too! FYI, it’s takeout only.

Excellent, well-made food. I always get the bowl, so nice to have delicious chicken AND quinoa in a breakfast bowl. Great topping choices, and homemade sauces are on point. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and loved it. Ordered ahead and it was ready by the time I rolled up. Highly recommend. Note* take out only, there are no tables

First time in as a local resident and I had a great experience. My kids and I were greeted with a warm welcome and some great tips on what to order. They offered stickers to my kiddos and my sandwich didn’t take long at all. Great flavor and you can tell it’s made fresh! Worth the price! It’s a great addition to Bloomington
