Got bibimbap to-go from this spot, and honestly for the price it just wasn’t worth it. The flavors were okay, nothing bad, but nothing special either — just pretty average overall. Portion and quality didn’t really match what they charge.

Not a terrible experience, but definitely not something I’d go out of my way for again.

The service was great and the food came out so fast! Lots of seating and not super busy as well. There’s a decent amount of selection that you can choose from and the cold noodles are sooo good! Love that there are combos that you can have with it as well! Overall 10/10

Always come here for the best cold noodles.
Service is self but the workers are always so kind and helpful.
Noodle portion is on the smaller side compared to other Yuchun restaurants in LA area but still a must try.

Average at best. Portions are quite small for the price you are paying. As you can see in the picture, the naeng myun I ordered only had one piece of meat and it’s the same size as half a boiled egg and it didn’t come with sides. The flavors across the board were bland as well and could use more seasoning. It seems the restaurant is aware of their quality as they incentivize customers to write a 5 star review in exchange for a free drink. So take the five star reviews here with a grain of salt. Compared to other locations that focuses on naeng myun and mandoo, this location has a very large menu which I believe reduces the quality of their individual items.

As others have said, this location does not compare to the one in K Town. To start, the free broth is served to you with your food and not self serve, which is fine, but it was undrinkable. Tasted like a cheap powdery version with little to no flavor. It was really what I was looking forward to, so terribly disappointed. That said, the other dishes we tried were pretty good. Cold noodles and galbi combo was pretty good. They were out of the tofu soup, so tried the spicy beef soup per the lady’s recommendation. Soup was good, but the beef was not the shredded type I am used to. Was in small rectangular pieces and very tough. Service was very friendly, but we were the only ones there on a Monday evening around 6pm. Would I go back? Maybe if in the area, but not worth going out of your way IMO.

Absolute BEST in California for naengmyun! It’s most Koreans’ goto place for naengmyun just FYI

I tried kimchi mandoo for the first time today and it tasted just like my grandma’s. Totally recommended! BTW it’s little too pricy.

My favorite cold noodles place in Buena Park. The portion is huge and the broth is very good. They have arrow root noodles which I like more than the typical buckwheat noodles. There is a nice large outdoor shaded seating area that makes the meal even more refreshing.

Great place to get the main dishes for Korean food cravings! Top dishes are the cold noodle (물냉면-Mul Naeng Meun) and the spicy soup (육개장- Yukgaejang) which I get with noodle. Covers me for both hot and chilly weather. Yum! Also, the inside eating area is clean with good AC and has 8 tables with one big table that can homd 8 adults comfortably.

I’ve tried a lot of different 맹면 (cold noodles) places throughout the years. It’s always the same, it’s not cold enough, there’s more noodles than anything else, the water taste like tap water…

Yuchun is the best spot period. The noodles are cold (fantastic during the summer heat), the service is great, food comes out quick.

You don’t expect such a small place to have the best noodles, but they do.
