This is my second time trying ramen, the first was underwhelming. This time it was also underwhelming. It could have been that I don’t know what ramen is supposed to taste like, or that I also ordered the black garlic flavor.
There were only a few people on the restaurant, it was quiet and relaxing.
I was waited on promptly after sitting. I ordered the hot tea, egg rolls and the black garlic ramen. The egg rolls were okay, they almost seemed like they were the frozen pork egg rolls. I love egg rolls in general anyways.
I’m not exactly sure what the black garlic ramen is supposed to taste like. But it wasn’t a garlic flavor. I do like the chewy ramen noodles , and the pork fell apart in my mouth. The pork was delicious.
I would try this place again, and I’ll order the original ramen and start from there.

My experience here was really good. The chicken karage and the Udon Ramen both were really good with very fine tasting broth. I also tried a hot sake. I felt that was pretty average. The ambience of the place is good and the service was reasonably fast.

Yua Ramen was amazing! I loved the look of the restaurant.
I chose the Black Garlic Miso, and it tasted really good! It was really flavorful and filled me up!
Everything arrived in less than 10 minutes, so its great to have if you need to eat fast.

Criminally underrated spot. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. The place is quaint and clean. Ramen is really good, I’ve been 3 times and sampled 3 separate options – all have been great. Fair prices.

We only discovered this place because we’d driven four hours and needed a quick lunch somewhere that was “dog friendly,” but we are *very* glad we did! Both the shoyu and spicy miso were deliciously on point, *and* we were able to slurp them with our giant, handicapped dog relaxing alongside us, after his cancer-treatment appointment nearby. Even better, after hearing his story our understanding server informed us she had a big dog too… and kindly surprised him with a gift of at least a pound of fantastic pork scraps from the kitchen. Already planning our lunch here again, after his next appointment!

Very welcoming and prompt service with awesome tasty and generous portions. Super packed surprisingly on Friday morning, 2nd January- warm and classy ambience. Very clean. Highly recommended. Lots of parking – easy access, adjacent to Grocery market 99.

We’ve always shop Ranch 99 and 85 degree but have not try Yua Ramen. Glad we stop by today. Had a good bowl of ramen, chasu was tender and flavorful. Like out lighter broth and thin noodles. We do like the extra texture from the bean sprouts. I definitely prefer this over Kizuki Ramen. Our Katsu, simple and good. Definitely will be our regular in town spot.
Note on my rating, sharing this as I believe some may assume a 3-star review indicates a mediocre experience.
5 stars: Exceptional! Outstanding food, service, and/or experience—well worth traveling for. (For example, we often drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.)
4 stars: Surpasses expectations in terms of food, service, and/or ambiance.
3 stars: Solidly good or meets expectations. I would revisit any place rated 3 stars or higher.
2 stars: Falls below acceptable standards for food or service.
1 star: Best to avoid.

Excellent service here with very friendly host. Got the spicy ramen, takoyaki and fried rice here. The ramen has a clear broth that’s not heavy and silky smooth pork that’s perfect. The takoyaki was good and fried rice too with charred pork chashu. The fried rice is a bit oily but tastes great! This was my second time and pork both times has been very soft.

I love ramen, but hadn’t gotten around to trying this place because it’s way out on 99. Finally dropped in one night and was really impressed. Great flavors and a pleasant vibe inside. Service was fast and very attentive. I would definitely eat here again.
