Solid spot, they do great lunch and dinner service, everything is always delicious and I just tried their dim sum menu today. It’s a limited menu but everything was done well. Service is always fast and friendly, zero complaints. Place is small, no frills but totally fine. Yu Noodles is one of the many great east Asian restaurants in Rockville, and very affordable too.

Great service and beef noodles were great. Hot and sour noodles were fine too. Grilled fish was underwhelming because it was recooked from frozen prepared fish but the price is fair. Heard dishes were prepared and distributed from a central kitchen, and then reheated at the restaurant. You can probably tell from the shape of the rice in the braised pork rice picture here.

First off, the waitress was so kind and attentive! Also, the portions are huge; the photo doesn’t even do it justice! I had the pork pan fried dumplings which were some of the best I’ve ever had and the Sichuan beef noodle soup which was good, but nothing spectacular. The broth was super flavorful but the noodles and beef itself were quite average. I probably won’t return for the soups, just out of personal preference towards bigger noodles, but the dumplings were delicious!

The Chongquing noodle is 9/10, the flounder and cabbage noodle is a solid 7, and the Schichun beef noodle is a 6/10. The ratings are based on our own taste preference. The waitress was super nice and attentive even though she was the only one there. The food came out quickly and hot. We asked them to tempered the spiciness of the Chongquing noodle and it came out exactly like we asked. We will recommend this place to our friends and come back again. The restaurant is small and we came at an off-peak time (~2:30pm on Saturday) so there wasn’t a wait. There were customers sitting at almost all the tables. If you come at peak dining times, there may be a wait.

The first place I came to after eight months away from home. They’ve expanded the menu but dishes are just as authentic and delicious. Prices are still cheap and service is friendly and prompt. I love that they put a carafe of ice cold cucumber water. It’s a great place for a work lunch or dinner. A hot Chongqing soup in the winter hits the spot. Parking sucks as always.

This is an amazing place! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The taste was very good, and I really like Yibin noodles. They provide less spicy options. I had a great experience here, highly recommended.

Loved it! The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and the hostess was so sweet. She came over to check on us multiple times and brought my brother hand sanitizer for a mosquito bite. I highly recommend the Intestine over rice + minced pork and sesame noodles. Those were my favorites!
We also got the spicy noodle and spicy tripe. The rest of the family liked it, but I’m bad with spice. We’ll be coming back!

Great little spot! Really enjoyed both of our dishes and sesame balls for a starter. We were also given a very cute Lunar New Years gift. Will definitely be back!
