Had a family reunion here at the Your Place restaurant Lincoln highway. I had one of their famous Stromboli’s. Last time I had one of these was probably 15 years ago. Unfortunately something changed. I think my stromboli ham was a little thick, did not have much mustard and the sausages was small and limited. Didn’t quite taste the same. Maybe the same ingredients but the proportions weren’t quite lined up as I remember and it does make a difference. Service was excellent. We had a group of 25. The waitress was on top of everything, well organized and controlled. It made our visit there much more pleasurable. No complaints on anyone else’s meals. Great atmosphere, fireplace, very comfort and cozy area to sit in the back. They even have an outside porch area. I might just have to go out and try it this summer.

I am very confused by the 3+ star reviews I’ve seen. Maybe those are from staff or close associates.

Unfortunately, ‘Your Place’, should not be anyone’s place. Ive been here 3 times in the last few years (due to others in my party insisting we keep trying this restaurant) and each time there is an issue. Either with staffing/long wait times, quality of food or the atmosphere itself.

The dining area is legitimately dark. Lights are either off or in need of light bulbs. It’s strange. There is carpet on the dining room floor that smells of old beer.

We had to find our own seats, get our own menus while waiting and eventually had to grab a bartender to come to our table to get our orders

I dont know why they’re “well known” for their Stromboli’s. We ordered a few individual ones. Almost all of them came out room temp, soggy and very spicy with no indication of that on the menu. The Bavarian pretzel special was also lukewarm, sticky and over salted. Most of us found it inedible.

The final bill was outrageously priced for the slow service and gross food! Will not be returning.

Was visiting the area to go to the American music theatre to see a show. Wanted to try someplace new. This was nice and close and decided to stop in. Ordered the potato soup, pretzel and grilled cheese brisket sandwich. The pretzel and cheese was one of my favorites that we’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend this one. Also, the potato soup was only warm and the grilled cheese brisket sandwich had an unusual taste, I think it was coming from the oil that they used to grill the sandwich. Ended up stripping the brisket and barbecue sauce from the sandwich and eating it on the side. Restrooms had a distinct aroma.

I grew up with this restaurant in my home town. Always loved their Stromboli. I have eaten at this particular location a couple of times and my Stromboli was as good as I remembered. There was only ever 1 server plus she worked the kitchen. She was always nice. However, tonight I stopped in at 9:55pm and was turned away . They closed the kitchen due to short staff. The party’s at the tables were paying and leaving. I saw at least 3 servers , which is more than I have seen during my previous visits, and the bar was full. It’s a football night and the Kitchen is closed? Very disappointing.

Such an underrated place to go! Deserves so much more hype! Staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Drinks are good. Food is great. We love the friday buffet! And I just learned they are now starting breakfast on sundays! If you’ve never been here you should absolutely give it a try! We visit at least twice a month and are never disappointed!

When I got inside the dining room it was dark but seemed nice and clean. Was sat right away and offered a drink. The music was really loud for a dining room. I think it’s a thin divider between the bar and dining room. The music had speakers in the dining room and I found it loud and off putting. Even the staff had to ask people to repeat themselves a good bit. I was told at the hotel and than again when I arrived the Stromboli was legendary. So I went ahead and ordered that. It arrived a while later with a side of grits. It was small and long more like a long pepperoni roll in my mind. It’s been cut into pieces with a side of sauce. It looked okay but seemed wet. Unfortunately it was pretty cold by the time it got to me. The crust was crispy on top and wet on the bottom but hard to get through. Flavor was meh… fine. Was definitely cheaper cuts of meat inside like lunch beach not good quality salami and ham. For the price it was probably okay but I’d or order another. The grits although also just room temperature were pretty good. A touch of jalapeño gave it nice flavor but not too much heat. Texture and consistency were very nice. I had to ask for plates and table settings. Wasn’t offered dessert just for the check. Not a bad experience and food was not bad but not great either. Seems like a place to eat out of convenience while staying at the nearby hotels.

Customer service was horrible, the waiters didn’t know what they were doing and kept forgetting whose food went where. Some of them weren’t even wearing the companies name so some people thought they were customers. The waiter I had was extremely unhygienic, sweating everywhere, wasn’t washing her hands, and did not have proper attire on. She kept cursing and leaning over my table to talk to us. There was a man that worked here and he had his CHILDREN cleaning off the tables. They were 8 or so. The food was good, just greasy. The menu didn’t really have a lot of options. Overall I would NOT recommend this place, it is musty and extremely dark lighting, and horrible customer service. At one point the waiter didn’t take my card and asked me to get up and come with her to tap my card. Extremely unprofessional and one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I just ordered a Philly and Stromboli. The French fries tasted like they were made yesterday and then refried to the texture of cardboard. The Philly meat is nothing great. It tasted freezer burnt and over cooked. Out of my whole experience the Stromboli was the worst part: it tasted like leftover processed meats. All I can taste is bologna and mustard.

We came in here a few weeks ago and have never been able to get over it. Melanie was so unbelievably fun and attentive. The food was 10/10, and the coziness of the whole place really did make it feel like it was “our place”! Can’t wait to come back the next time we are passing through!
