Great lunch buffet! Loved the porch chop and meatloaf. Can’t say enough about those rolls either. They even had pineapple cake but I was so full I didn’t even get a piece. Super friendly atmosphere. This is the closest diner to my home so if I’m in town and want a nap after lunch this is where I go!

Small mom and pop country buffet, you can go there during the week for lunch buffet. Fried pork chops is one of my favorites here, as well as chicken and dumplings. I have always hand great service while having lunch. When your in Town and you want something a little different take a few minutes to drive out to the east side of town.

Food was distasteful BBQ sauce didn’t taste like BBQ sauce. Says it’s a BBQ place but there wasn’t very many actual BBQ foods. Fried chicken was mid. Greens were mid. Overall experience was mid. Shut this place down or get some melonated people to work there!!!!

This was a great little mom and pop place. They offer a barbecue buffet with a menu option. I opted for the buffet which included lots of comfort food including pulled meats, pork chops, and fried chicken. The food was great and the price was fair. Very friendly atmosphere. Would for sure come back here.

The chicken is amazing, the square rolls were soooo good. But the barbeque was only ok, the sauce was terrible but we might’ve gotten a bad one or something. The Service is why I gave this 5 stars, my daughters and I were weary to enter but we were gladly welcomed by the woman at the entrance. There was a also a woman going around asking if people were doing good, she was very kind to us as well. Will definitely be back when we’re back visiting at the college!

This is a local favorite, but for good reason. If you want genuine country cookin’ this is the place to go. The food here is excellent, and the staff if friendly. They admittedly don’t have a wide variety to choose from, but what they do have is some of the best food in the area. If you’re passing through on the main highway uptown, it’s worth the out of the way drive to go check this place out. They have more than BBQ as well. Typically fried chicken and fried pork chops, and then a daily special. The close at 2:00pm, so keep that in mind.

I never drive through this area without stopping and enjoying lunch with these fine folks! Hometown atmosphere with delicious food and awesome service. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys home cookin! The Pork Chops are off the chain on Thursdays!

For $11 the drink and meal are overpriced. The buffet was very small, and food had little flavor and the vegatables tasted like they came from a can. The cake and bbq were both dry. The highlight of the experience was the fried okra and friendly staff.

Been here twice in a month. You cant get a more homecooked meal anywhere in this county or the next. Bananas Fosters is delicious. Home made BBQ sauce you put on yourself is outstanding. Reminiscent of eastern Carolinas vinegar based but not as sour and pork is juicy not dry rubbed mistake you find over there in Andy Griffiths neighborhood.
