So this was our 1st visit to Yoto since the transition from Kyoto last year and I must say the food still tastes great. Seemed a bit pricier but same unique flavor! Our chef was phenomenal & luckily he was there when the previous owner Jen was running the place so that was a plus. My spicy shrimp hibachi dinner was spectacular. My husband ordered his hibachi dinner with shrimp & fillet mignon & was so pleased with the steak. His shrimp delish as well. They are getting ready to update their menus so tune in for that. The only downside was they don’t have a full bar and are only doing shots and straight liquor at the moment;however our waitress K was very accommodating with our drink requests. The sake is still very good. K was very attentive & her pleasant demeanor was also a plus! We will definitely be back soon. If you haven’t been since the change you definitely should check it out!

Friday nights can be crowded (a sign of a popular place). The bad news for a hibachi restaurant is you must wait till there’s enough people at your large cooking table. But for us that was about 5 minutes once we were seated.
The food was flavorful and portions generous. The chef’s little show at the start set the fun tone: bang the utensils, start a big flame to get our attention and cook everything with a grand flare.

This place is under new ownership and was recommended by a work colleague. Service was good but food was meh. Ordered the steak hibachi rare and it came out well done. The server quickly offered to fix it but I didn’t want to be that guy. Just curious as to how someone could overshoot a rare steak by that much and think it would be okay.
My wife had the sushi and was underwhelmed by it. The cream cheese overwhelmed the roll so the balance was off.
The clear soup was good though and the service was attentive. Probably won’t go back.

Worst experience ever! Went for moms birthday today at lunch… we were seated at a table by ourselves next to a full table of people who had already ordered. After we ordered, we were totally shocked because we had to watch the damn cook at the other hibachi table. They cooked our food at a table we were not even at and couldn’t see the show or anything. After complaining the nice waiter was even shocked they did this and agreed he would be very upset too. They did nothing but take off 3. Damn dollars and gave her some cheap carnations to try and make up for her rotten birthday lunch. Horrible horrible horrible.

First time ordering from them. Got three orders of fried rice to go, one chicken and two combo. For the price of the meal, I expected a bigger portion, and they offered me sauces without telling me they were 50 cents each. Rice was pretty good, but not as well seasoned as I would like. I had hoped to have a good hibachi option in OB, but I will continue going to my favorite place in Southaven.

We were very disappointed with the Hibachi. My daughter and I were expecting a show. But, there was no show. Just a little flame and the banging of spatulas. And with the prices and 18% tip attached to the bill, it was way not worth it. Service was good by keeping our glasses full and the food was good. We will not be going back…

I have gone here for years. For the last several visits this has been horrible. I always get sushi to go, on the last visit it took 1 1/2 hours to get my food. Today it took 35 minutes for 2 California rolls and 1 curly sue roll. They were not edible as the rice was mushy and tasted horrible. I do not know if new management or what but I will not go back. I wish I got rate zero.

We called to verify being open about 30 minutes prior to close so that we could place a large pick up order. Whoever answered the first time said alright great!. Called back within 5 minutes to place that order and no one would answer the phone (4 attempts). I guess we’ll take our appetites elsewhere from now on. We didn’t want your sub-par sushi anyways. Our first three choices were already closed.
