Social Profile:

Yoshiharu Ramen’s origins began in the scenic northern island of Hokkaido, where tonkotsu (pork broth) based ramen is a staple in Japanese cuisine. Our menu was created and perfected by our master Japanese Chef utilizing the finest and freshest ingredients available. Our mission is to provide our patrons with the most authentic and delicious ramen to tantalize the taste buds. In 2016, we opened our flagship restaurant in Orange, CA and with the love and support of our loyal customers we now have nine additional SoCal locations with many more to open this year. At Yoshiharu Ramen our goal is to share our love and passion for ramen while bringing superior quality food and customer service to the masses.

I typically dont make complaints but the prices are not only high considering the quality of the food but the service is also poor. The tonkotsu shio broth tasted like water and the chicken karage looked and tasted like the mystery meat you’d get in a school lunch (and pretty sure the egg had previously been frozen because it looked gnarly). The service was also nonexistent. I dont mind waiting to be seated but later the waitress stopped halfway through us speaking while ordering to sit another group immediately and serve other tables their food. If youre looking for half decent ramen its more cost effective to go Silverlake or Ramen Nagi.

Really good ramen (I had the tonkatsu black) and takoyaki. It’s a smaller restaurant but very cozy. Service was fine. I’d definitely recommend Yoshiharu to others.

Pretty good ramen and sushi. Our group ordered the tonkotsu black and spicy miso ramen. Both were very flavorful and filling. We also order the salmon bento box and chicken katsu with curry. Both the bento boxes were good, but katsu seemed a little dry. It’s better with the curry, but I wouldn’t order it again. The sushi was great. We got the baked salmon roll and crunch fire roll. Both were fresh and delicious! I would come back to try the other ramen.

Overall, it was a good place for a family dinner, but the prices were high, and they needed more than one server. Since it was a rainy day, there were many pickup orders, which seemed to slow things down. We didn’t receive water until our main ramen arrived. A few tables left and canceled their orders because the wait was too long.

Had one of the worst dining experiences at Yoshiharu Ramen. They served me an expired drink (the bottle clearly showed it expired July 25, 2025), and when I brought it to their attention, the staff refused to even take it off the check and acted like they didn’t care at all.

This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant. Serving expired products is a serious health risk, and the lack of accountability and basic customer service made the experience even worse.

If you care about your health and safety, I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

On Sunday evening, after my son finished his Taekwondo tournament in Tustin, I searched for nearby Ramen restaurants and drove my family to Yoshiharu Ramen.

To my surprise, only one server was attending to 80% of the customers. Since my kids were hungry, we decided not to spend time going to another restaurant. Therefore, we ordered the following items:

• Tonkatsu Black ($18.00)
• Tonkatsu Spicy Black ($18.50)
• Rib Eye Beef Bento ($20.00)

After waiting for 20 minutes, two bowls of Ramen arrived. I almost finished my meal when my wife and daughter realized the Bento had not arrived yet. I asked the server about it, and she apologized, explaining that it was taking longer than expected.

Advice to the Owner: To ensure better business, please consider hiring more servers and not cutting back on labor costs. Customers don’t like waiting.

If the waiting time improves, we will definitely return.

When in OC there’s never a shortage of places to try. While we had some great options, we landed on Yoshiharu. Entering the shop, we were met with a surprisingly young staff who were friendly, quick, and knowledgeable of any questions we had about the menu. It was quiet when we arrived but, the dinner rush brought in a few regulars that livened up the atmosphere.

As for the food, the St. Louis BBQ ramen you’ll see pictured was a unique and tasty fusion. We expected the rib to dry out one way or another but were pleasantly surprised at the juiciness. The crispy rice spicy tuna was perfect.

We found ourselves up to try the Poké Ramen on the second visit. A fusion of two favorite dishes, this had a nice balance of flavor and freshness!

Went there on a whim for mother’s day dinner, and it was a hit. We all loved our ramen and appetizers! Very nice smoky flavor to broth and pork, and the eggs in ramen were absolutely perfect. And they had a discount for moms on mother’s day – a small thing, but such a nice special touch. Definitely recommend.

Love the food. Love the service. Few dine-in people during lunch but lots of take-out/deliveries. For dine-in, takoyaki is a bit too hot in the inside, be careful when eating. Also, not sure if just on our order but the plates are chipped or has a little bit of broken side. Anyways, the ramen tasted good so not much of a deal breaker.

Ramen is delicious. Spicy dishes arent too spicey and simply adds a bit of a kick to keep the meal enjoyable. The waiter was pretty cool, and overheard the other table ask for some hot water but apparently it wasn’t available. It would be nice if they offered hot water as an option to drink especially in colder weather.
