One thing they can improve is offering a bigger variety of complimentary banchan (Korean side dishes). They only give four items, and they don’t even include kimchi as part of the appetizer set.
Quick tips:
They have outdoor seating available, and the restaurant is located on Torrance Blvd right next to Starbucks.
First we were served the salad and banchans. They were sure tasty and delicious.
My friend got the soon tofu white, yes you can order non spicy soon tofu.
Soon tofu comes with raw egg but he could not eat egg so we put it in my Beef rib soup.
The flavor was elegant and warmed me up inside and out.
Also got the Soju sampler set which was also tasty and a good pour.
I also tried the Bekseju wine which was sweet and tasty.
The waitress recommended me to mix with Soju with Bekseju.
Service was also superb and attentative. I think I found my new Korean spot.

For those who live around Torrance, we all know that there are quite popular Korea restaurants around the Southbay area. Yoritofu is a great addition!
1. Location
This is very easily accessible restaurant. It is in the same complex as Hannam Chain Torrance (new one). The biggest perk about this whole complex, which is very beneficial to the restaurant, is the HUGE parking lot. It’s next to the Starbucks so if you are walking from Hannam Chain, you kind of have to go around the Starbucks to see that it’s there.
2. Vibe
Ladies who work there are extremely kind. If not too busy, they will take their time to explain the menu as well as what the side dishes are.
3. Food:
Taste of food here definitely went above my expectations. I personally have this weird thing where I automatically assume “new-looking restauarant” won’t have traditional taste. Food here is excellent and very clean tasting.
Their side dishes were good as well! I especially loved their radish kimchi. In fact, they make their own kimchi at the restauarant, which is quite hard to find these days. And yes, they sell their own kimchi!
4. Additional comments
I don’t usually eat around this complex simply because of my work. BUT, I would love to visit back whenever I crave the motherland food.
