Yorgo’s Bageldashery offers a welcoming and charming atmosphere, featuring a cute storefront, ample seating, and an inviting upstairs bar. The service was friendly, efficient, and well organized. The menu includes a wide variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors, with notably generous cream cheese portions. We tried the sourdough bagel with lox cream cheese and the salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. While the sourdough bagel was enjoyable, the salt bagel was overly salty for our taste. Overall, the bagels are good but not particularly standout, as the cream cheese base tastes fairly standard with added mix-ins. Still, the variety and atmosphere make this a spot worth revisiting, and we would be open to trying different menu combinations in the future. It was also nice to see the shop offering free bagels for a good cause. We recommend bringing cash to take advantage of the cash discount, though clearer signage in the store would be helpful.

We ate here on a Thursday 1045am. I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese on their toasted whole wheat bagel. The eggs were well seasoned. The sausage patty was to small but flavorful. The bagel was well toasted but seemed old. Something was not right about the bagel so next time I’ll order a different bagel. Just don’t order the whole wheat one it’s not any good. I’ll asked for a double because the sausage patties were to small. Great atmosphere as there is additional seats outside and upstairs! There is a bar upstairs too but who drinks before 3pm??? Only 3 stars on the food because of the sausage patties. I posted a video of the place.

Cute Brunch place. I love that they have a full bar upstairs with a big open window. Loved the atmosphere. The bagel was delicious, the drinks were great. Ill have to come back to try their coffee next time.

We’ve been coming here every Sunday for years. Best bagel shop in Hampton roads hands down. The staff is great and the vegan options are amazing. And their chocolate chip cookies are the BEST! We just wish they had a better system for seating, it gets so busy and some people will just sit forever after they’re done eating. It’d be great if they could take over the space in the back upstairs to accommodate more people.

Fabulous gem is Norfolk! We grabbed the last challah for our French toast and since we called ahead, they were kind enough to hold it for us until we got there. We appreciated their kindness. We also grabbed a few bagels to go, looking forward to trying them! There was a decent line of folks waiting for their food on a Saturday morning, so plan accordingly. Next time we will try their breakfast sandwiches! We will be back!

Today was a far cry from last. That bagel Ive been Craaaving was hard and had no flavor.
A quick, delicious breakfast. I tried The Lox today. It consists of tomato, red onion and capers I opted for a plain bagel and regular cream cheese. It was too much for one person to eat. $12 for a bagel seems steep but they are made fresh. My kids grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and brownie. They said they were “mid”. They looked good…. Ill be back.

During a recent trip, my wife and I decided to try this bagel shop after reading all the glowing reviews. First impressions were promising—the place is super cute, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re about to enjoy an incredible bagel. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.
We both tried the onion bagel with plain cream cheese. While the flavor was decent, the texture was disappointing. A good bagel should have that signature chew that makes your jaws work for it—this one felt more like a roll or a piece of bread.
We also sampled the cinnamon raisin bagel with a sweet-flavored cream cheese (cinnamon, I think). The overall flavor profile was off—it tasted artificial in a way that wasn’t enjoyable.
As for drinks, I had an iced chai tea, which had a gingerbread-like flavor. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either, and it didn’t quite hit the mark for a classic chai.
Overall, if you’re craving a real, chewy bagel experience, this may not be the spot for you. We probably won’t return.

This is a great café with good food at a reasonable price, with a wide selection of options to choose from. It’s very clean and has good options for different sitting areas depending on what you’re in the mood for. I also bought some of their spread to take home (raspberry chocolate) and it was delicious.
