Had a really nice breakfast at Yolk! The prices were fair and the portions were big — perfect for a relaxed morning meal. Everything was fresh and tasty, and I especially loved the horchata drink — super smooth and flavorful! Great spot for a cozy breakfast or brunch. Definitely coming back!

Had a great breakfast this morning at Yolk in downtown Chicago. I came with my wife, and we both left impressed. I ordered the corned beef hash, and they had the steak and eggs—both dishes came with pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and a nice bonus. Everything was cooked well and full of flavor. Our server, James, was friendly, attentive, and kept the coffee topped off without even having to ask.
Only small critique was that the hash browns were a bit on the dry side, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and the service made the meal even better. Definitely a solid spot for breakfast in the city.

Had the all star combo with crepes. And the wife had the banana bread French toast.
The bacon and sausage were phenomenal, as well as the crepes! I had them with the Nutella option.
The wife was amazed by the French toast.
Our waiter, Charles, was extremely nice and had a very calming and welcoming vibe.
10/10 would recommend!!

The food is good the eggs are very big and the pancakes are delightful. The iced tea was also good with a nice lemony flavour. Nothing fancy nothing amazing. I would recommend this place.

I got to know Yolk as a recommendation by a local which is always a big advantage.
Walking in to the restaurant you are always welcomed by the staff. Even the manager will make sure you are taken care of at all times.
I mostly go with 5 egg omelettes, extra bacon and an espresso drink.
The portions are virtually shared size!(but I DO NOT share food)
They do have solid brunch options and freshly squeezed juices.
The place, even though a tad outdated, is very clean and well managed.
I would love to see it open later in the evening as I could have breakfast food all day every day. But yeah, it is a breakfast/brunch place and it operates as such.
