EDIT: Had the tacos de carnitas at the Sac Taco Fest and it was 10/10 perfection. They won the judge’s prize, which was well-deserved. Great tamales de puerco en salsa roja as well. Impressed

This place is horrible.. they sell there dry Mexican style tamales for $5 each which is a rip off. I have sold the Guatemalan style tamales for 7 years wrapped in a banana leaf. So the masa is not dry and I stuff them with a lot of meat and sauce and I charge $3 dollars each for a bigger tamale. In Rio Linda

$70 worth of tacos and tamales on an Uber eats order and not one single salsa was sent. Did something change? I’ve never in my life ordered street tacos and received ONE lime for the entire order, and no salsa at all. We ordered 7 tacos and got one piece of lime. At that point it’s just insulting like don’t bother.
The food is fine but that’s just lazy and cheap. I’d pay for the salsa but there’s no option!
The tamales flavor is good but they’re 70% masa and 30% meat. They need salsa because that much masa will inevitably be dry. The tacos taste good, but they’re dry!

As others have said, there was an unusually large portion of masa in the tamales. The flavor of the masa was good, but the fillings were kinda bland. My cheese and jalapeño tamale didn’t have any cheese in it. The salsa is good.

I found about this place through the news; therefore, I was very excited to try it especially the tamales. I gotta say that I was disappointed! First, the place was not as nice and clean as depicted in the picture. Second, the meat tasted kind of weird and, last for the price I was expecting a better quality, tasting tamales! Oh! But not everything was negative my friend said the lady at the counter was really nice and the cheese tamales were good!

Ordered 1 dozen jalapeño & cheese 1 dozen Pork. These tamales are FAT & filled!! They don’t skimp. Best tamales I’ve ever had. Glad I found this place. Highly recommend.

Rice is instant rice with seasoning , beans from a can . Asada is heavy on salt . Tamales were okay but not 4 dollars okay . Staff was nice , rice taste just like Taco Bell rice .
