Celebrated my birthday here at Yokox and made my reservation thru Resy. I did not expect anything but i was blown away after the whole experience. We have tasted several omakase here in the US and even out of the states and Chef Owen had amazing flavors with his Omakase. Kathy the front desk was very courteous, engaging and warm. The chef connects with you at a different level, he doesn’t rush you, he tries to get a feel for what you like, he imparts a lot of knowledge. Amongst our favorite are the Hamachi, Golden Eye Red Snapper, and of course the A5 wagyu with black garlic. It was so good we had to take out and have our mom try it at home!!! They have a very competitive price too! Will definitely be back!

Every bite here was perfect and fresh that I have to order few more from a la carte menu. Lean tuna with truffle soy sauce is the best. The vibe is chill, no rush at all. They also gave me ice cream mochis on the house! Thank you so much. Definitely going back.

Wow!! What a place! We asked our friend to take us to her favorite NYC spot and this was it. We can see why! Although pricey but every bite of the 15-course meal was superb. The freshest of the fresh. The chefs were so sweet. Ended with mochi (mango, strawberry and matcha) which were so so good. 10/10

The fish here is incredibly fresh and succulent. The thick-cut slices offer such a satisfying texture! Most of their seasonal catches are flown in directly from Japan.

Chef Owen Ou was amazing. They have the best fish here – buttery and fresh across 16 courses. Super creative pairings and toppings. We left so happy!!!

He was thoughtful with each fresh and buttery cut. His creativity showed in each pairing. There’s an emphasis on the freshness of the fish. Each of the 16 courses were carefully curated to have balance and flavor.

We went on a Monday and got an intimate. This spot is a hidden gem amongst the many omakase restaurants in the East Village.

Amazing experience here and super affordable 15 course option! Our chef, Owen, was very friendly and welcoming. The fish was fresh and high quality. My favorite pieces were the king salmon and toro with caviar. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be coming back here 🙂

THE VALUE! A wonderful assortment for the omakase that is done earnestly and makes it more affordable to all. Definitely make reservations in advanced since seating is limited. The vibe is pretty modern and clean too. I really enjoyed watching the Chefs crafting each roll. It’s definitely a diamond in the rough type of place and really hope them much more success to come!

I first came here for a friend’s birthday party, but it has quickly become my absolute favorite Omakase spot! They have so many unique toppings that I’ve never seen anywhere else. The fish is incredibly fresh—truly a next-level experience.

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most incredible omakase experience in NYC right now. Chef Owen and Dory make you feel so welcomed and provide exemplary hospitality. Each course is so meticulously crafted and tastes phenomenal. The cuts of fish were phenomenal and the wine pairing was exquisite. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and will absolutely be coming back. Chef Owen is talented, personable, and truly showcases the most incredible array of dishes. Thank you!

I have been here twice and absolutely loved it. They have a great variety of delicious classic omakase in addition to unique Japanese varieties. The space is clean, music the perfect volume, and service is amazing. Great price too per person!!! Highly recommend for a girls night with 1-2 friends or a date night. Love Yokox!!!!!
