I ordered a delivery order at 3:16pm. It took over an hour to arrive, the amount charged and the amount at the door were two different numbers even after me calling as asking if the delivery charge was included in the online amount. We called again when he came to the door and she blamed her system and said they can’t fix it to show the delivery on the bill. The rolls were okay. I ordered extra ginger and did not receive it and the soup was good after I microwaved it and there was no spoon in the bag. Cheese wontons were also cold. Not impressed to say the least

Nice little place that serves both Japanese and Thai. Leaning more towards Sushi dishes.
Restaurant was clean and modern, bordering on a cafe rather than a restaurant.
Prices were reasonable food was tasty. I had massaman curry with fry shaped sweet potato which was a nice change. They were a tad frugal with the rice and sauce, but there were plenty of vegetables and chicken.
Looking for a tasty quick bite, especially if you’re into Sushi, then try here.
They also have an all you can eat menu.

Passing through Truro and needed to grab a bite to eat.
All you can eat sushi seemed like the best choice.
The space is clean and inviting.
The staff were very attentive and quick.
The food was good for an all you can eat restaurant.
Good spot to try if you are in the area.

It was a wonderful place for an all-you-can-eat outing, with a lovely atmosphere and excellent staff. I enjoyed most of the food; the rolls were delicious, although the fried appetizers were a little greasy. Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience. I would definitely recommend it.

I liked this place overall it’s excellent. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain the different setups (normal vs all you can eat). The appetizers were good. Some though tasted a bit like grease but mostly were good. I found their sushi to be really tasty. Especially the ones with cheese in them. Wasnt a big fan of the sushi with Mango sauce. But overall a good experience. Definitely a recommendation for sure

I was excited to try Yoka, visiting Truro. Sadly this place missed so many marks: its really inauthentic, so many fusion rolls, cream cheese, mango sauce…
The rice was good, and the maki was good. The selection of fish isn’t great, and the portions for nigiri and sashimi was pretty awful. Other commenters noted on how thin the fish is, and I should’ve given this place a miss based on that.
I ordered takeaway and everything was well packaged, but looking at the cost of AYCE I’d never have considered eating in. Too much, especially considering the qualify of the sushi.

Japanese/Thai cuisine. Incredible experience… all you can eat experience. Great way to try new foods, load up on the items you can’t get enough of!!!
Seating limit is 90 minutes, and the flow of hot, fresh, delicious choices come quickly. Outstanding customer service.
A “must try” while visiting Truro!

Sushi was really good. We did not realize how expensive it was thou, as we were from out of town and it wasn’t posted anywhere on way in.
I’ve had really good ayce sushi in halifax….cheaper by 20 dollars. And the sushi is as good or better and more options.

Possibly the worst sushi we’ve ever had. The fish could not have been sliced thinner. The enoki mushrooms were sitting on a bed of lettuce soaked in a sauce, but they tasted like the soggy lettuce. Overall food didn’t seem fresh. This is the first time we didn’t eat all of our sushi. People who like this have just not had good sushi.

The sushi is absolutely delicious, extremely fresh, and the service is generally top notch. We drive just over 2 hours, about every third week, just to eat here. The best sushi in-between Truro and Cape Breton for sure. Totally worth the money and trip to go to. I highly recommend the all you can eat, as they have a menu you can choose from or an all you can eat selection. A couple of the pictures uploaded are of the supper all you can eat menu. The all you can eat menu has changed a bit since these were taken, but will update with new pictures when I go for the supper next. More pictures to come at next trip.
