Noble Rot Soho is set in Greek Street’s once notorious lair of many left-wing politicians. Today the building’s gorgeous period features have been preserved and renovated, with Martin Rowson’s painted triptychs celebrating the restaurant’s past and present customers in all their louche glory. Noble Rot Soho’s menu is created by executive chef Adam Wood and Hungarian head chef Áron Stigmon, with consultant chef Stephen Harris. Like all Noble Rot restaurants, it prioritises cooking delicious dishes that complement the world’s greatest wine. It features the most life-enhancing roast chicken with morels and vin jaune sauce. Noble Rot Soho is simple, homely dining at its best.
Elegant, snug eatery with a European menu featuring seafood & meat plates, plus a robust wine list.

Food is outstanding. I had a choux bun – crispy lamb belly – beef bourginon and some Madeline’s, Every dish was 10/10. Presented beautifully and tasting even better.
A huge thank you to Georgie for her wine recommendations, making the extensive wine menu clear and understandable for a layman and delivering background on each the producers of the wines and how they would pair with different dishes. Pick of the bunch was the chinato “luli” – I have never had anything like that before and I loved it.
Ewan was also incredibly welcoming with great conversation – a big thanks to him as well.
I could eat here every day. Worth every penny.
For the food, we had the choux bun duck liver parfait (I wish this was a bit warmer?), salami, tuna tartare, truffle risotto, and roasted chicken. The potatoes were a definite highlight, very good and crispy! While the other dishes were definitely tasty, they didn’t blow me away.
Noble Rot Soho is an absolute standout in London’s dining scene. From the moment you enter, the stylish, cozy, and vibrant atmosphere immediately sets the tone for a memorable experience. The space strikes the perfect balance between casual charm and sophisticated elegance.
The food is exceptional. Every dish is beautifully crafted, full of flavor, and presented with care. The menu offers a wonderful mix of seasonal and inventive dishes, showcasing creativity while staying deeply satisfying. The wine selection is equally impressive, perfectly curated to complement the menu.
Service is impeccable — friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff elevate the experience with thoughtful recommendations and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Noble Rot Soho delivers excellence on every level: ambiance, cuisine, wine, and service.
Began with a variety of local breads, big meaty olives, and Cornish crab and Tomato salad.
Paired starters with a lovely dry summer Rose (in the picture)
Followed up with the Roasted Chicken and morels and rice pilaff. It was obviously prepared and roasted with care.
Some suggestions to elevate the experience: The service was excellent but more attention should be paid to the empty wine glasses. I should not have to refill myself. Add some light background music to create a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Finally, when wait staff transitions, say goodbye and introduce colleagues.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit and will definitely return to try other items in the menu!
