What a joy to find this gem in Bellevue Idaho. We were driving through and we have a passion for great sushi and Yoi Mi delivered. The food is outstanding as well is the service. Our server Akhmad could not have been nicer! Great sushi, great service, it’s a must got to place!

I have eaten sushi literally all over the world…..Chicago, LA, NYC, London, Dubai everywhere. Yoimi has the best sushi I have EVER had, bar none.

Run, don’t walk to this place. Don’t care if you have walk, drive, bicycle, snowmobile or fly- get there and ask for Ahmad. Also, there best waiter ever.

Super chill, very reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised at how good my roll was for such an unassuming little place. Great quick meal if you’re supercharging nearby.

Honestly better than I expected for such a small town. Very soft fish and they are generous with the fish quantity. Service was too notch but we were the only ones in there so not sure if that is normal. Would go again.

Came here for dinner while visiting on a work trip. I’ve gone to several Japanese style restaurants while here in the area and this is the first one that has actually lived up to my expectations.

The food here is excellent and tastes very fresh. The prices are generally reasonable too. Not cheap but I feel that it’s good for what you get.

The service was very attentive and cheerful and the restaurant was nice and clean.

I will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area again.

Great food. Great service. My husband, daughter, and I each enjoyed separate dishes and loved them! The had fun Japanese soda for my daughter and portions were generous. As a Bellevue resident I think this restaurant is a great addition to the town. We will for sure be back. We’ve even recommended this establishment to some of our friends, who’ve also enjoyed the cuisine.

We came in with high hopes for a friday lunch, but came away sorely disappointed. First, we ordered chirashi (rice with chef choice fish cuts) and were served foul/rotten fish. We’re fairly forgiving for poor sushi chefmanship (poorly seasoned, too much sauce, etc), we’re in idaho. But foul smelling, on the cusp of rotting fish is just not forgivable.

Which leads to the service. Despite being totally empty, it took a solid minute for the server to notice and seat us. I am reluctant to complain about that sort of thing, but it continued with other poor service. Our server couldn’t really speak to any of the sake on the menu. The energy in the whole place felt very awkward. When we realized our fish was foul, we were uncomfortable saying anything, and they took it back, didnt take the dish off our bill (we didnt push, we dont like to do that), but also the server and chef spoke for a very long time, despite the fish having a distinct and obvious rotting odor. They gave us a replacement cut, and it was not foul, but frankly was poor quality (i think there was a bad defrosting procedure with this particular fish).

Obviously our appetite was totally killed and we didnt eat the rest of the dish, tho it didnt seem obviously rotten. I just worried if they would allow a rotted fish to get to the table, what were the storage practices of the other fish?

I can say they make an excellent seaweed salad, and the fried gyoza was good.

We went to the Twin Falls location before this, and ultimately the rolls were heavily drenched in sauce, but fine service nothing worth returning for, but the bellevue location was open when no one else was for lunch.

We wont be returning to either location and would advise strongly against the bellevue location. Sushi on 2nd in Ketchum remains the best sushi ive had in the state.
