Company is losing a lot of its core values and quality.
Food seems prepare with a whatever attitude. Horrible cuts, reduced sizes.
Plenty of other places around. Go to Itsu round the corner.
Service is a terrible. I get staff trying to lighten the mood but way over the top. All they care about is the 7.5% service charge
Was a little disappointed at first as what we were served did not look like the image on menu (in relation to size) however was immediately offered more- which resulted in us taking some back home.
Dined with younger daughter who has the sushi bug and was a pleasant overall experience.
Cheers guys
Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. I had to physically get up and find staff when we wanted to order drinks and dishes off the menu. The service bell was all part of Yo!Sushi charm, as was the on-tap sparkling and still water fountains at each table. The portions of each dish served were all different sizes, whoever was cutting onigiri tonight should be retrained as the 3 slices we saw travelling the conveyor were all very different thicknesses.
The ramen my partner ordered had 2 small slices of chicken in, the soy marinated egg had no yolk and very few noodles—not what either of us expected for £13.95.
The soft shell crab rolls had no visible soft shell crab (as it is pictured both in the restaurant and on the website/advertising).
The mince pie dessert was dry and disappointing, with very little filling, but they had been circling the restaurant the entire time we sat down, so we gathered they’d probably been there most of the afternoon.
And £3.50 for a plate of 5-6 prawn crackers? Absolute joke. I’ve been a Yo! Sushi customer for many years, but sadly no more. As other people have mentioned, the original charm and fun has gone and in its place is overpriced, average fare that I could get cheaper from the Panku counter at Asda.
