This woman aka “the only waitress” was so rude and racist towards me and my best friend. We hadn’t seen this lady the entire time that we sat down to eat, she approached our table and threw our check on the table and just walked away without saying anything. The next time she came back it was to collect the money. My friend put her card on the check and was going to cover the tab, when the lady looked at me and held her hand out rushing for my card. I said “okay…” and also put my card on top of my friend’s.
Both of our cards have chips so it triggered mine and and declined the swipe. “The waitress” came back to the table and loudly said “it’s not working, it’s not working” rushing for another form of payment. To which then I checked my bank app to make sure everything was okay and allowed her to try again. I’ve then decided to get up and walk to the front to speak to the host taking payments. “The waitress” kept coming back to the front where we were to make sure that we were actually paying and was grilling us until we left. This was her exact face the entire visit. I tried to explain to the host who was taking the payment what happened but she smirked and brushed me off. Me and my friend were extremely uncomfortable and won’t be coming back. The food was decent but not worth the price or the treatment that we received.

I and my wife have lunch today. Very delicious and tasty lunch. Good persons for attending customers. Though it is Monday there is many items. Price is very reasonable. I recommend every body to go there once

Yichiban Buffet are adding an additional fee called “adjustment” without advising the customer. When questioned, the young boy running the cashier said, he didnt know, and that I should ask the waistress/owner, who said it was a “service fee (tip).” She is also very rude!
My concern is that they are adding this to every customer’s bill.
CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING!

The scammed my by adding a $5 charge. We also got food poisoning from here. Thu just laughs and says “oh well” and pretends not to know what you’re saying. Wendy, the waitress, doesn’t wash her hands after handling dirty dishes. The police need to investigate here for fraud charges and the health inspector needs to be called for unsafe food practices.

My brother went to this trash establishment after class. He is the kindest, most respectful person you will ever come across. Unfortunately, most of the reviews here are accurate regarding mistreatment and racism. They kicked him out after ten minutes and made him pay for his buffet before hand. I don’t think these people believe in the One and True God. If they did, they would act accordingly. All I have left to say to the owners, manages and staff at this trash establishment is fear the day when you are standing before Him.

Really a 3.5 rating. Everything was clean. The staff is friendly. The food is cooked all the way and kept fresh in the buffet. They have a large variety of food to choose from.
However, the sushi bar was not cold and there was not much selection available. The gentleman behind the bar was on his phone instead of making fresh sushi all 4 times we attempted to get some.
The Teppan bar was SAD. Most of the food was browned and dried. Clearly nobody has eaten that today.
We went at 6:00 on a Saturday night. There were 8 other occupied tables so it was busy enough to stay for buffet since it’s a smallish place.

Well I just left there and had my first experience I did not even stay 15 minutes. Food was cold but I would deal with that but then the server got on the phone and she was literally talking so loud it was in my ear since I was the table by her booth she stays at I guess and i would deal. But then she blew her nose a lot and didn’t wash her hands and went stirring the food and came and grabbed all the soy sauces of the tables by their tops that’s why I was done and just left I was too grossed out.

All these less-than-5 ratings come from people who don’t seem to understand how open buffets work!
This is the best Chinese open buffet place I’ve been to in both Canada and the US (I’ll admit though this is the only one I’ve been to in the US).
Very big selection, delicious food, and we only paid $27 for lunch for 2 people! 2 people dining all you can eat (AYCE) with a big variety of foods + dessert, now that’s what I call a huuugggeeee portion!
The sushi was excellent but not much variety, so don’t go there if you’re only after sushi. Also, food freshness depends on how busy the place is, duh!

Wasted $20 on a Monday trying to get some lunch. I stayed 10 minutes into the dinner time slot and had to pay the dinner price for some very underwhelming food. Not worth the money, won’t be back tbh.

Terrible!!! Couldn’t be worse than this!. My kid was sitting on high chair in the red lined area. Long story short. The waitress I think her name was Wendy and the management took away his high chair and said he cannot sit there because he makes mess!! Excuse me?? I have never seen this in any other restaurants before! I usually leave very high amount tips on my check because the people have to clean up after my kid but this time and this restaurant customer service counts zero!!. Finally they charged my one and half year old kid as an adult then I asked to correct, they did but added 15% tip automatically to my check while insulted us and the kid!!. Never ever come to this place. They are rude and rip off!!. I have an extremely bad experience and dont recommend anyone around mid cities suburb to go there for dine in with many more better places to go since they are not family friendly!
