Fantastic food and friendly relaxed atmosphere. The butchers plate had a little of everything and was perfect for trying a lot of the different options. The dish easily feeds 2-3 people, which is perfect if your group is into sharing. The owner, Angelo, took the time to greet and introduce himself to us shortly after we were seated. He gave recommendations on what to order and unexpectedly even gave us a complimentary ekmek kataifi, which we highly recommend if you like pistachio, rice pudding, and baklava flavors. We will absolutely be returning and recommending this restaurant to others.

My family and I love this restaurant! We are Mediterranean and this is the best Mediterranean food in the state. This is our go to when we are at the shore. The owner Angelo is so meticulous in the details of high quality ingredients and beautiful ambiance that you literally feel transported to a Greek island while dining there. My husband and I love the fresh fish including yummy lemony sardines and the delicious appetizers. The food is healthy and you feel great eating it since the ingredients are authentic and exceptionally premium ingredients. They use the best olive oil in everything! Trust me you will taste the difference!

This restaurant is a gem! I’m originally from a nyc suburb which has a large Greek population and wonderful Greek food there. I’ve lived in Brick for 30 yrs, but never found any Greek restaurants worth noting. I know how good quality Greek food should taste; it’s flavors & complexity. This restaurant is the real deal. I’ve eaten there several times. I can recommend their mixed grill platter (enough to feed 2 or 3), their grilled seafood platter, any of their gyros or Gyro platters, pita & tzatziki, fries with cheese, lemon potatoes, skordalia (garlic mashed potatoes), and their baklava is to die for! This charming and very friendly restaurant is spot on. The owner and the staff truly aim to please and are very attentive and kind. And the additional feature…the atmosphere is absolutely delightful…like a little, peaceful excursion to a restaurant on the Greek Isles. It’s a mini vacay! Go try!

Absolutely worth the hype, this place is truly outstanding. I had the intention of going just for their lemon chicken soup (Avgolemono) because when you’re under the weather and it’s cold wet and rainy, it does the trick every time. We asked for the largest portion, and it was perfection. I had the gyro platter, and my boyfriend had the falafel, everything came to the table fast, fresh and absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and very kind, the owner was very friendly; everyone made us feel like family. I would HIGHLY recommend having a meal here, you won’t be disappointed.

Yianni’s is a place you simply have to experience. The decor reminds you of Santorini with the blue and white all around you. Michael was our server. He was attentive and had a wealth of information to impart. He described the dishes from a culinary standpoint. We enjoyed the Butcher’s Plate. Every meat was a standout, from the chicken skewers to the lamb skewers and the pork, to the bifteki, the lamb chops, the lemon kissed oven roasted potatoes and frites with a sprinkling of delicious feta, to the salad drizzled with a smooth balsamic dressing, this platter for two transports you. I can’t leave out the warm, pillowy pita and the perfect tzatziki! My husband and I couldn’t finish it and will enjoy it again tomorrow for lunch. We had to leave room for dessert! I enjoyed an espresso and we shared an Ekmek Kantaifi. It was a perfect end to a delightful dining experience. Sweet, but not too sweet – a symphony of flavors based on a delicious custard. There is a small Greek market behind the counter with many imported goods. We’re fortunate to have had no trouble with parking in the office season. Michael explained that during the summer you needed a reservation. We will certainly be back and we highly recommend Yianni’s Greek Taverna.

My family and I went to Yanni’s this weekend. It was my first time and I will be back. The food is fabulous and the service is amazing. We ordered tzatziki, spicy feta and spanakopita as appetizers. They were all flavorful and perfect. The spicy feta has a kick to it so beware LOL At the last minute I changed my order from a gyro to the chicken lemonata. I made a great choice the chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The potatoes that came with it were delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert. We tasted these amazing little fried dough balls dipped in syrup that I loved. The baklava cheesecake is special. I will be back! Thanks for a great meal!

Great night at our favorite Greek spot — Yanni’sGreek Taverna ✨
The restaurant is now under new ownership, and its still amazing! Angelo, the new owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming — such a pleasure to talk to. You can tell he truly cares about creating a great experience for his guests.
The most amazing desserts — fresh, warm baklava straight out of the oven (unreal!) and a orange cake that Angelo kindly brought out himself with delicious chocolate. What a treat!
Our waiter Mike was absolutely fantastic — super attentive, friendly, and just made the whole evening flow perfectly.
Everything we ordered was delicious: the seafood was fresh and flavorful, the orzo was perfectly done, and the grilled cheese and veggies were bursting with flavor. You can really taste the love in every dish.
The whole place feels bright and inviting and still casual and cozy, but with a refreshed vibe — and it’s BYOB
Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t been in a while — Yanni’s is definitely worth a visit!
