I always come to this Chinese-Japanese restaurant, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and I’ve visited many times. The sushi rolls are incredibly good, and the fact that they offer 50% off makes it even better. Everything—from the rice to the appetizers—tastes fresh and flavorful.
It’s also very affordable for the quality you get. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food, great prices, and a place you’ll want to return to over and over.

I love places that have discounted sushi, and the quality of the food is not compromised. We are big fans of sushi, and having it taste fresh is difficult to find in Utah. We gave this place a shot and really enjoyed it. The staff were kind, the food was made quickly, and everything tasted so good! The Unagi, Play Boy, and Mt Fuji rolls were DELICIOUS. We highly recommend you to try those 3 when you visit.

This is a fun place. And the cheapest sushi you will ever find. They had both Japanese and Chinese offerings. My husband had the best salmon ever. And he is a fish lover. I had chicken and cashews bento box. My Son had really good orange chicken. The orange flavor was from orange peels soaked in the sauce. Way better than Panda Express. The sushi was excellent.

The appetizers are great. You can’t go wrong with the sushi . My favorite are Playboy, Rainbow, Tiffany, Ichi and Vegas. Their rolls are 50% off. Their Lo mein is also very good. We like the chicken, beef and House Lo Mein no pork.
During the pandemic they were so careful and so kind. They have American desserts. If you celebrate your birthday, they have a disco ball and a song.

I love sushi and it was my first time trying this sushi restaurant. I tried 3 different sushi rolls and enjoyed all of them. They were presented beautifully and they were filling. They also had good dipping sauce. I’d love to come back.

The server did not care about us at all. He did not check on us. The food is not cooked the fish is soggy and gross. We couldn’t even eat the sushi.

Echoing what others have said: the food is consistently really good for the price. Unlike other discount sushi places, Yi Sushi’s rolls have a variety of ingredients, flavors, and textures instead of just tempura shrimp and imitation crab on repeat.
But their customer service is pretty bad. The food is good enough to put up with it, but beware of the following:
– They are soooo slow. It took them over 30 minutes to take our order…on a Tuesday night. Don’t make plans after dinner, you will be late to them
– They say they take reservations but don’t trust them to honor it. I knew they had one table that could sit 12-14 people and I called right when they opened in the morning to reserve for a group that large for a birthday dinner. They told me I had a reservation but when we arrived, another group was sitting at the one large group table. I told the hostess that I had made a reservation and she went over to the other group and talked to them, but then she came back and split my group up into two tables without an explanation, apology, or peace offering.
