How many places get 5 stars for food but I get one star for atmosphere and service? Yi Mei Deli! The food is exceptional. My favorite is the salty soybean grease stick (trying to translate it, LOL) soup but everything is good. Their milk teas are delicious too. Yes, the service is sassy. I call it the “angry people deli” (in mandarin) because everyone is pissed but I go there multiple times when I’m in town. Expect exceptional food but just angry vibes from all directions.

I used to come to this place often during my college days. When I returned recently with my mom, we were treated with utter disrespect by a lady who seemed absolutely unhappy to be serving there. For example, not only was I ignored when I asked her to heat up my sticky rice lotus leaf wrap, but when my elderly mother lost a lid and requested a new one, this lady gave her a lecture instead of simply providing it. Yi Mei may dominate the local market for soy milk, and their clientele may keep coming regardless of the poor treatment, but this was by far the worst, most unpleasant dining experience I’ve had in over thirty years of dining in the area.

This is a very Chinese-style restaurant, the main features are Chinese breakfast food. For example, there are: soybean milk, soft tofu, fried noodles, as well as various meat stuffed, vegetable-filled steamed buns. The food looks simple, but the taste is richer. The area of the hall is small, there are many tables and chairs, and it is very dense. The location of the store is very good, just inside the Hong Kong Plaza, next to a supermarket, with a lot of traffic, a lot of parking spaces, and the transportation is very convenient.

This is a Chinese-flavored drink and snack bar. This snack is a kind of food that Chinese people eat for breakfast. There are all kinds of steamed buns, dumplings, soy bean juice and sour plum soup. The taste is very authentic and Chinese characteristics. It came out in a few minutes and there are external stalls that can be bought and taken away at any time. This store is in front of a large supermarket. The traffic is very convenient. There are many people. The tables in the store are very compact and even a little crowded. Many cars I often come here to eat

Absolutely love this gem of a Chinese deli! Their buns are beyond compare – fluffy, flavorful, and always fresh. A must-visit for authentic bites and a stay that feels just right. Highly recommend!

Had breakfast with my husband this morning here. We come here every time we visit the area. It made me sad seeing so many negative reviews because we love this place. They do take credit but there is a minimum of $30. The food was amazing as always and the staff was busy getting orders out. Once again we left very happy.

Been coming here since I was a kid but my god has the price gone up. Always have been a fan of the salty rice roll and egg omelet. Glad to see that this place is still around after all these years.
