Reviews
To make matters worse, the guy who took my order over the phone was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing him just by calling in an order. We spent over $55 for two people, and it was easily the worst takeout decision we’ve made.
The inside of the restaurant actually looked very nice, but on a Friday night at 8:30 there was only one table occupied—which says a lot. I’m not trying to put the restaurant down, but with food quality like this, it’s clearly a dying business.
Do yourself a favor and trust this review—find somewhere else to eat. Disgusting.
This local Chinese restaurant embraces a traditional atmosphere and offers a robust menu that caters to takeout with dishes freshly prepared to order.
Atmosphere: 5.7/10
The setting is reminiscent of a typical family-owned Chinese restaurant, with decor that reflects Chinese cultural elements, offering both a cozy dine-in experience and efficient takeout service.
Service: 5.7/10
Service was competent, handling takeout orders with a broad menu selection. While food preparation took a bit longer, the freshness of the meals served to enhance the overall dining experience, indicating dishes made to order.
General Tso’s Chicken: 8.1/10
An excellent rendition of General Tso’s chicken, featuring white meat that’s extra crispy and saucy with a delightful spicy kick. Accompanied by the classic broccoli, peppers, and onions, it delivers a robust and satisfying crunch.
Pork Fried Rice: 7.1/10
This dish stands out with its well-cooked rice and well-seasoned pork, mixed with all the expected ingredients, providing a fulfilling and flavorful side.
Egg Rolls: 7.9/10
Exceptionally crunchy and fresh, these egg rolls break from the norm by focusing on fresh veggies rather than cabbage, contributing to their standout taste.
Value: 6.1/10
Pricing is reasonable, reflecting the high quality and excellent taste of the food. This restaurant offers good value for money, particularly given the quality of the ingredients and preparation.
Wonton soup, egg drop soup, ranch salad.
Mongolian beef, orange chicken, honey Walnut Chicken with white and fried rice.
The warm reception from the waiter was kind and refreshing. He chatted and allowed us newer folks in on some hidden gems around town. He also gave word of Kobi- their sushi restaurant nearby that we will be visiting.
The food was delicious and unparalleled. I will be frequenting this location to try their wide variety often.
Thank you!
Menu recommendations: beef chow ho fun (dry)
Bbq platter (duck/crispy pork/roast pork)
Salt and pepper pork chops
Update: still awesome
The egg drop soup was a salty mess, the orange chicken tasted like cardboard and the shrimp udon was also salty and not something that should be served here. I hope its temporary/ new staff but this sort of quality is unacceptable for $64 worth of food.
