Huge fan of YGF and very excited that a new one has opened in Kirkland. Same selection of ingredients as most other locations, very clean and with lots of broth selection.
This place is 15.99 per pound which is $1 more expensive than nearby location. Parking is easy to find as it’s right next to City hall which has free parking after 5 PM or during weekends.
Like other locations, you’ll also be provided a piece of fruit with your meal.

The chicken broth: Absolutely fantastic, can’t wait to have it again. Different than the kind you’d expect from any kind of pho or ramen, good in its own way.
Love the ability to get as much tong ho, lamb, quail eggs, tofu, snakehead fish and beef tripe as I want.
However: I did NOT like the special recipe chicken nor the braised beed tripe. Also the other fish they have besides the snakehead is just regular, unremarkable white fish.
Before tax, I spent $32 on mine, my wife $18. Comes with a free single serving of soft serve icecream!
EDIT: Okay yeah, with a bit of discipline you can definitely keep it in the $15-$18 range before tip and tax and still feel incredibly full afterward.

standard malatang restaurant with good options! i got the dry chili oil, which literally was just chili oil and stir fry, which wasn’t my favorite, but my friends got the regular soup which was really good. next time i’ll a different soup base. parking can be hard, but there are a few lots around

Easy enough to understand how to grab food and order. Lots of meat, tofu, noodle, and mushroom options. They give you some bonuses like oranges and ice cream if you want them.
If you have an allergy or specific diet, I don’t think there’s a lot to prevent cross contimination of various foods like shrimp, meat, veggies, etc.
