Always love this place!! 10th time there now with friends and families. My go to when I’m in the mood for good tasty soup. This place never disappoint!! Consistent excellent broth and so many varieties of fixings to choose from. My favorites are the fish roe balls and fish ball with dark stuff inside. Tomato broth was so rich and tasty!! This place can accommodate variety of picky eaters. Service is great. Typical ambience. Love the little ice cream and fruits that come with the meal. It’s a very busy place but the wait is fast and worth it. Definitely you have my support!! I hope this joint will continue to thrive for years to come!!

I stopped by for lunch and ended up having a really great experience. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, so I expected a long wait, but it actually moved pretty fast and we were able to order without much delay. The place was busy but organized, and the staff handled everything smoothly.

The food itself was delicious , fresh ingredients, flavorful broth, and generous portions. It was exactly the kind of comforting, satisfying meal I was craving. Even with the lunch crowd, everything came out quickly and tasted great.

What really surprised us was the little treat at the end. They offered free watermelon and ice cream, which was such a thoughtful and refreshing way to finish the meal. It definitely added to the whole experience and made us feel appreciated as customers.

Excellent variety of ingredients. Fresh and kept refrigerated. $15.99 a pound you can select as many as you want in a very large bowl. It’s waited at the register. Then you select your broth for the soup base. Vegan, vegetarian, and multiple meat broths are available.

Amazing we get to the Chef’s in the kitchen creating the stews.

Fresh orange juice slices were served while we waited for the soups. They were delicious.
And there’s free ice cream available at the end of the meal.

This is my go-to spot when I can’t decide what to eat — easy, customizable, and consistently satisfying. Prices seem to have gone up a bit this year, but it’s still a convenient option.
I personally prefer the dry-mix (gan ban) style. You can adjust scallion and ginger at the condiment station, which makes it easy to tailor the flavor. One small tip: after picking items from the broth bins, give them a quick shake to drain excess water — everything is weighed together, so it actually makes a difference.
Simple, fast, and reliable when you just want a comforting bowl of malatang.

YGF MaLaTang in Bellevue is an okay choice for a quick meal. The main positive is that the price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. The food was acceptable but didn’t particularly stand out. It’s an average experience good if you’re looking for reasonably priced Malatang, but nothing exceptional.

Usually Southcenter is my location. I like that this one has soft serve and they give you watermelon when you sit down. Adds an amazing touch. Less crowded compared to my usual spot. Plenty of parking and easy to find. I like that they have extra utensils and bowls and plates out as well. There’s a few items the other one didn’t have in the fridge. If you ask they will not over cook the veggies which is a nice touch to these kind of places.

Love the concept and the bone broth is delicious

There is also a dessert and drink business that is separate from the food

The food here was amazing! It is definitely a cross-contamination nightmare, but the restaurant is very clean. They share their restaurant space with Lucky Cube (a desert shop) so it gets insanely busy. My boyfriend and I got seated in ≈30min because it was just the 2 of us, but bigger groups had to wait a while. This being said, we came on a busy Friday night at about 8 PM. However, the food was delicious. I consider myself a foodie, and I found some foods that I have never tried before, there is a lot of variety. there’s also a really wide variety of meat available, including eel and octopus. there was so many people and it was super loud, so I couldn’t talk to my date until it was around closing time, but the food makes up for all of it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty decent malatang with bold, spicy flavors. You build your own bowl from a variety of raw ingredients and pay by the pound. Great vegan options with plenty of fresh veggies, mushrooms and tofu to choose from. It’s very easy to overfill your bowl The “dry mixed” style options without soup tastes better to me.

A great experience here like we had at the Southcenter location. Even though seating is a bit more cramped at this location, we had a good meal and service was great. They shifted some smaller parties too accommodate our party of six, the menu is slightly different than Tukwila as the broth options were different and some don’t have spiciness levels such as the Tom Yum option. I just added chilis as needed. What this location has is toys for the kids tight seat and soft serve ice cream. Can’t forget about the sliced oranges which was super nostalgic as I remember sliced oranges at the end of every meal at Chinese restaurants growing up. Needless to say YFG Bellevue location is also a banger. We got beef bone broth, curry and tom yum this time.
