Two years ago, in 2023, we spent Christmas in Ennis, and discovering this restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. From our first visit, we were impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent service. It quickly became a place our family truly appreciated.
I regularly dine at many restaurants across the United States, and I can honestly say that this restaurant ranks among the best breakfast spots I’ve experienced. In fact, it surpassed a well-known and highly regarded restaurant in Beverly Hills, both in flavor and overall experience — something I don’t say lightly.
This year, in 2025, we returned and were genuinely pleased to see that the same high standards have been maintained. The food remains outstanding, the service is consistently professional, and the overall experience is just as memorable as before.
Our family absolutely loves this restaurant. It is rare to find a place that delivers such consistency and quality over the years, and this one truly stands out.

Upon entering Yesterday’s Soda Fountain, you’re greeted by its charming dual nature—a welcoming pharmacy with a quaint shop and cozy coffee stand at the front. The setup is unique, inviting you to wait to be seated for what promises to be a memorable meal.

Our dining experience did not disappoint. We enjoyed a delicious chicken sandwich and a flavorful Southwest hamburger, while our kids were pleased with their tasty cheeseburgers. The lemonade was a hit among the little ones, perfectly complementing the crispy fries and well-prepared burgers.

The food at Yesterday’s is not just good; it’s delicious, leaving both kids and adults satisfied. This spot beautifully blends the nostalgia of a classic soda fountain with the efficiency of modern dining, making it a must-visit when you’re in Ennis.

I had a short 4 day visit to Ennis and had breakfast at Yesterdays on my first morning, I was greeted by the nicest people ever! My server was so pleasant and fast. My coffee cup never was left empty. The old time atmosphere mixed with this small town feel is a perfect experience. I had breakfast there every morning. The portions are huge. Ask for crispy bacon and you get it. You cant teach people how to be so enjoyable. It obviously comes natural. I would warmly recommend Yesterdays to everyone.

Really nice old fashion style restaurant. We were able to be seated right away. The server was nice and helpful with describing the option. Shakes were great and highly recommended. All food items were really good and portions were of decent size. The only thing I found disappointing was the desert – Chocolate Cake. It was ok tasting at best, but the price was rather high for such a small piece and that turned me off. Got an Expresso coffee on the way out from the coffee bar. Tasted good however was not as hot as I would have expected.

Summer 2025, we came to Montano to visit my famy and for the fly fishing. Here at this breakfast eatery, Ennis made a lasting impression on me. First, across the street, the wisdom and enthusiasm the young associates had for fly fishing was spellbounding and then, while grabbing a bite to eat, I befriended a large family. The eldest, a proud horseman despite a broken wrist. His sister an avid reader. A mother who homeschooled them all. I could have visited with them all day long. Ennis left such an impression on my heart.

Small town restaurant, great customer service, employees acknowledged me when I walked in and again by my server. Service was great, hot coffee. Order came about 10 minutes later. Prices very reasonable! Food was hot and another of it! Couldn’t finish. Small minor thing, hashbrowns were a little greasy. Would eat here again

My wife and I discovered Yesterday’s several years ago when we moved to Bozeman. One day while driving around we went to Ennis. We decided to get something to eat and there was Yesterdays.
What a wonderful time we had. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server was Copper. She has been working there for many many years. Her big smile and pleasant personality made Yesterday’s special.
We have been returning each week for lunch or sometimes breakfast ever since.
You should definitely to the beautiful drive to Ennis and check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

One of the most enjoyable breakfasts we’ve ever had. FRIENDLY staff from lovely lady walking in to server greeting and seating us with menus and offer of coffee immediately!
This is how it used to be and we noted locals also enjoying this establishment as well, which is always a good thing! The food was hot and very good, ample portions as well along with happy smiles.
Wish this place with amazing staff was in my small town!
