Came here looking at the good reviews. Ordered some food and coffee.
Was able to find a table immediately.
The cappuccino was good. Was told they use Joshua Tree Coffee to make the coffee drinks.
I got the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was more than filling and yummy. Wife got the avocado toast with a well done egg, which came out over easy. But that was a minor issue.
The chicken pesto sandwich was also yummy.
Overall everything tasted good.
P.S. They also gave the kids some activity to keep them busy, which was a plus.

We were disappointed with the food. I mean the platting is presentable and looks delicious but the taste and flavor is a whole different story. The croissant and bagel were cold and hard. The chilaquiles were cold by the time we got them. The salsa was very sour and the chicken seemed undercooked and very gummy. We couldn’t really finish the food. Service was good and they were quick enough to replace one of the plates. They brought the replacement with what seemed to be a chopped up frozen sausage over the chilaquiles instead of the gummy undercooked chicken. The coffee was very good and that we enjoyed.

Very disappointed with my experience.
I had been wanting to check this place out , and i managed to go today. Service was horrible, Bella the cashier was on her wrist watch as i attempted to order and ask questions about items on the menu no eye contact just her on her watch untill she charged me. Once i placed my order i was going to make my way to the restroom as she calls me and says “ you have to wait outside someone will call you by your name and give you your food” . I went ahead and stepped outside, 25 minutes later and still nothing, i go inside and ask for my food, its been waiting on the counter. Now i open it and my sandwich is cold, and made incorrectly i have a pork allergy, i related this to Bella and subsituted for sausage. Now i can not eat my sanwhich. They were not even busy. I do not understand this lack of service. Very upset with what should have been a nice brunch. Im left with no sandwhich and bad service.

Came for a breakfast on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that there was eating inside during 103 heat, even for how busy they were. The service was fairly quick, amicable staff and clean establishment. Great selection of food options. Tuna sandwich was fantastic as was the chocolate crossaint and horchata drink. Ambiance was nice for a historic downtown, outdoor patio area to eat. Not loud and able to have a conversation without yelling. Free Street and lot parking available

Had to drop a star‑studded review for Yes Please, this little café is a gem!
The avocado toast with beets and arugula is simply perfection. The baked goods, especially huckleberry scones and flaky biscuits, had me hooked. Coffee? Next level.
During a Sunday street fair it was busy, but the team handled it like pros—with big smiles and efficient service.
Pet‑friendly outdoor patio, good parking, and a menu with something for everyone. Breakfast and lunch only, but it’s absolutely worth the early start.
5/5 and can’t wait to return!

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! The egg sandwich is consistently delicious. The flavored iced coffees are also so good. I’ll absolutely keep coming back.

My only complaint is the constant long line. I read the management would like some advice on improvement, so here’s my suggestion: the ordering system currently runs like a typical coffee shop, but it might work more smoothly if it operated more like a breakfast restaurant (with table ordering for dine-in guests and counter ordering for takeout). Line management could also use some attention by staff. It’s pretty easy for people to bypass the outdoor line by going straight inside, which can be frustrating for those who’ve been waiting.

the food is always super good would 100% recommend the breakfast croissant and or the chocolate croissant if they don’t run out. although one issue i ordered a hot belgium chocolate menu states $5.50 which is totally fine but for the size i was given i would say that is rather absurd. i then asked an employee if this was really size which some attitude was given. i get it its saturday its early morning and its busy but i wait in the line for a reason because i enjoy the business but i would say they should alter the price of the belgium hot chocolate.

We loved Yes Please so much that we came back two mornings in a row during our trip to Palm Desert.

It’s counter service and they have great signage explaining how everything works and where to find things to alleviate any guest frustration upon arrival. Brilliant!

They offer amazing coffee drinks using local, organic Joshua Tree coffee. We got vanilla lattes and the lavender milk latte. They also have several other house made cold beverages that sounded delightful (such as jasmine and Thai teas), beer, wine, mimosas, juices, kombucha, and bloody Mary’s. It’s not a full liquor license so the bloodies are made with Soju (just a heads up there).

But let’s get to the main course! Over the course of our two visits we tried the salmon eggs hollandaise, chicken and waffles, brioche French toast, and egg biscuit sandwich. Eggs were perfectly cooked, biscuit was a dream come true (flaky but not crumbly and buttered to perfection), and my date’s meals were phenomenal. I’m not a huge smoked salmon fan but I took a bite and loved it. Generous salmon portion too.

Service was amazing from the front counter to the folks who dropped off our meals. They were also quick to clear any dishes for us along the way. Extremely friendly and always courteous.

There is ample parking in free lots. We happened to time it just right both times but this place is popular so be prepared to wait in a short line (worth it, I promise!) and scout a table in advance if you’re planning to dine in.

The days we came there was an art street market and a farmers market with yoga in the park so check out the Old Town La Quinta offerings to make the most of your visit.

I recently visited Yes Please and had a wonderful experience. The food was great, and the friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a nice meal. We enjoyed the eggs Hollandaise and the croissant with eggs. Both dishes were delicious and well-prepared. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I highly recommend Yes Please for anyone looking for a great place to eat breakfast and unwind.
