This place is a very cozy little buffet/restuarant. As with any buffet like this, slow days can mean the food is slightly less tender because its not being replaced as fast i assume, but if you get the food on the fresh days its really good. The drink I got is also amazing. Overall a very nice place to get food from, and I enjoy our pickups from there every now and then. The people working are also very kind. I recommend 🙂

We stopped for a quick bite for dinner and were surprised at the generous portions and affordable prices. The food tasted great: we had standard fried rice with sesame chicken, beef and broccoli and milk tea. The gentleman who waited on us was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and cool, a nice reprieve from the hot weather after fishing all day on the lake.
As there are not many choices in this tiny town, I recommend this alternative to burgers!

I avoided this place like the plague because I’ve never been to a restaurant that served food buffet style and it was good.
My co-worker sold me on trying the food here and unfortunately this restaurant was no exception.
I got the honey chicken, mushroom chicken, and sesame chicken with a side of rice.
The honey chicken was really good but because it’s doused in sugar.
The mushroom chicken was okay. Reminded me of gravy.
The sesame chicken, was disgusting. I couldn’t even finish it. It had no flavor and the chicken was very gummy.
The rice was the nastiest rice I’ve ever had in my life. The rice was very mushy for some odd reason. Couldn’t finish it either.
Service was quick and the employees were very friendly.

I will NEVER EVER pass through new town without stopping to eat here. So kind and friendly. The food was tasty. I’m so terribly grateful I found this place!!! And the hot and sour soup was amazing!!!

customer service is beautiful, but ever since they changed the rice and now its a just a replica of white rice with no veggies, the rice often smells like dye’s or chemically enhanced, bourbon chicken is to burnt, often all im eating is straight burnt skin then the chicken, but the rice is beyond disappointing and disgusting, it went from yellow back in 2014, to brown around 2017-2024, and nows it mexican rice thats smells like straight chems.

Great food, definitely not greasy. I spend 13.95 and literally could barely close my to go box, and the had to give me a second small one for the rest of the food! Staff is extremely courteous and helpful! Absolutely loved it! Food was always fresh and hot when I came through. Been here at least 8 or 9 times so far. Fantastic place to stop. If you like American Chinese food this is the place to go, if you don’t….well that’s your problem.

This place sucks. Food was horrible. The place was very dirty. The top of the napkin holder looked like it has never ever been cleaned or even wiped off! Ever!!!!! I rather starve than go here!!!!!

If you like getting sick and spending all night in the restroom, then this is the place for you!!!! The shrimp was terrible, but it brought back a childhood memory. When I was little and riding my bike and a June bug flew into my mouth.

About as good as you’ll get out here.
Been through New Town a bunch of times on my way out to or back from the oilfields and this is my favorite joint to drop in at. Decent size meal, decent price, if you were in a big city with more selections it might only be a 3 star but like I said, about as good as you’ll get out here.
