A staple of the NIU and DeKalb community for over 4 decades. Hot sour soup, hot tea and a fun atmosphere to start off the experience. Plenty on the plate to share. Cashew chicken, Kung Pao chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork and beef with vegetables. Plan ahead if you are doing carryout that line is never short.

Great portions/prices, and the staff is really kind. They really pack the food into the boxes, and god this shrimp fried rice is maybe the best I’ve had.

Probably the BEST Chinese food in Dekalb!! The 2 sisters that serve you are just delightful to talk to and the food is AMAZING!!! Be patient as it’s literally just 3 people running the entire restaurant, but Very well worth the wait. The food comes out pretty quickly considering that too.

First time going. Ordered orange chicken and beef and broccoli. Didn’t realize it only came with steamed rice. No fried rice or egg roll, and I paid $39.49. Their lunch menu prices are only good until 2:30 and you can’t pay extra if you want them after that time… was told it’s too much work. Do your homework before going, the website prices are waaaay out of date.

They charged 5-7 dollars more per entree than was on the menu. The waitress did not inform us that they had increased prices on menu items prior to ordering. This is unlawful and deceptive practice in the state of Illinois. I am writing this review in hopes they will reach out to correct this error, in which i will abstain from contacting the state attorney general. Again this is deceptive practice. If they were to have mentioned on their in house menu that they increased pricing due to market increases, or mentioned verbally before ordering , this wouldn’t be an issue. This is deception not verbalizing this to the customer before hand. Again, I am giving this ill informed restaurant the opportunity to correct their error, before I resort to contacting the State Attorney General for deceptive pricing.

American Chinese take-out at this finest! I LOVE this place, I love the food & I love the staff! Primarily because they take such care in preparing and sourcing the food. It’s not drenched in sodium with overly sweet/thick sauces. It’s made with fresh vegetables, fresh meat and in simple palate pleasing sauce. I’ve been in the area for 6 weeks for work, I happily dine here once a week, sometimes more. Highly recommend!

I stopped in for lunch before work with my boyfriend and the service was great. I felt like I was at home. The food was just as great as the service. We had the pot stickers, orange chicken, and beef noodles. The orange chicken was the best I have ever had—not too citrussy and evenly coated. This is our new favorite spot

Congratulations to 40 years in a business and I guess they’ve been in business that long because of their shitty attitudes I paid for $50 worth of food and received only three soy sauce and when I asked for more, the lady got an attitude with me keep in mind this is my very first time going there And she went on a Rant about how she normally charges extra for soy sauce. It didn’t seem that much of a big deal considering I just spent a significant amount of money on just two items when I let her know that it was my first time there and it would be my last. Her response was well We’ve been in business for 40 years so that’s fine Which like I said congratulations
