This restaurant was so nice! We ate outside on the patio, it was a very cold evening but they have nice heat lamps that kept us warm. The food was delicious. I had Moqueca Bahiana and Empanadas de Camarão and it was so tasty! This was my first experience with Brazilian food and I’m definitely impressed and will be returning. The service was nice, we were checked on by several people during our time there, offered blankets and such. It has a very welcoming and chill atmosphere. I can’t wait to tell others about it and return to try other dishes.

We had an amazing time at Yemanja! Food and service was fantastic from start to finish and the owner even stopped by to make sure we had a great time, she was very sweet and so hospitable! From the shrimp empanadas to the cold soup to the creamy chicken and rice dish, everything has fresh and very flavorful! The vibe and aesthetic are very relaxing and cozy, there’s also a nice patio and fire pit area outside! Would 100% recommend if your looking for something a bit different in the Soulard, Benton Park neighborhoods!
