The VIP roll had a perfect smoky flavor and tasted amazing, as always. I order the VIP roll every time I visit. It’s a must try for anyone who loves smoky flavors.
The vibe is always great and never fails to impress me.
It’s usually very busy during weekend dinners, with wait times around an hour most of the time, so make sure to plan accordingly. They also don’t take reservations on weekends.
Highly recommend!
1st strike: server never checked on us at all, we had to ask for everything, forks, drinks refills, but he was quick to give us our check to shoo us out.
2nd strike: My husband and I both ordered sushi, but mine came out 40 after his did. Our server didnt even bother to check on us until i said something. The servers response was “they suddenly got a large online order”. Okay, well, IM physically there right now, why am I not a priority? How did you manage to make my entire families meal but mine? They most likely forgot my order. So after almost an hour sitting there, everyone has to sit and watch me eat. There wasnt even an apology, or discount, nothing. We couldn’t even leave because its not like im going to leave with an empty stomach while my family has eaten already. We left the restaurant almost 2 hours later and my son asked for food because naturally, after waiting so long for my food, he was hungry again.
Strike 3: went there with a friend for lunch, we were seated for 20 mins with NO service at all, not even waters. I had to flag someone down to find us a server.
All in all, they need to train staff better and pay more attention, if thats the issue with the long waits. And also prioritize customers who are already IN the restaurant. I’ll be returning but if the service doesnt get better, there are other sushi options out there.
And it was a busy Tuesday night! Great food will bring the crowds.
I do have to say it was super busy when I came, all the tables were full and I had to sit at the sushi bar section. I’d say if you’re going on a weekend day (Friday or Saturday) think about making a reservation or not going in at the dinner rush.
Overall, great service even though it was super packed. My waiter was attentive and checked in on my family multiple times letting us know or sushi was being made.
The packaging is also delicious
